But I also love channels that get good background settings, good mics, making opening videos, get invested, even taking notes for big lore drops and prepare for discussions. The attitude of doing all these is already a form of “sincerity”. Compared to a channel for example lay on bed looking at phones, and immediately turn off the video when episode ends, you think the latter one is more sincere? Is it a crime to watch a reaction and comment on something you like or don't like. I may not agree with what Danil said and that should be ok. People work and have a level of service expected of them so they earn money to pay Patreon for entertainment, is it wrong if they also expect a certain level of service. The Geks can choose to take action on a comment or not. You have no idea how much grass people make contact with daily. This could be the only available time they have for entertainment and hence voice their opinion. Some people love the geks and want to fight for them but that is no reason to pressure people into only having positive opinions in fear of being scorned.

It's comments like these that turn internet content and shows into generic insincere slop. What you want in reactions is sincerity. Most reaction channels come over as insincere because of dumb comments like these, and I can't blame them. If Jack wants to say stuf or if they don't want to comment at the end because that's how they feel like, then that's how it is. I prefer this a thousand times over them forcing themselves and not enjoying themselves, ruining the moments were they actually do. Reaction channels are typically the kind of things you never want to see get too professional or formal.

We're up to where One Piece is now branching off into so many different stories within the show, that there's always something happening regardless of what we're being shown. All characters have an ambition and are working towards it offscreen regardless of what Luffy and the crew are up to. On a serious note guys, the discussion for this episode was WAY too long, like could we shorten it a bit. I mean I know we just got one of the best and most information heavy episodes you've seen so far, which is literally the ideal type for a discussion, but the whole 0.1 seconds we spent after the episode ended was just too lengthy. Maybe we could try and shorten that next time

He's trying to explain, but is just distracting them even more. There should be no reason he should be talking at all during the episode, save what you have to say for end of episode or rewatch and explain. There is 0 reason to keep distracting them by talking during the lore dump. Also no discussion at the end of the episode. I don't think any other reactors have ever done that. Makes 0 sense. If you watched 152 after this, you should have stopped and discussed at the end of 151 anyways, or at the very least dropped 152 as well. Jack should be doing what Cannon and Brig are doing during Breaking Bad reactions, waiting until the end to give his thoughts. No one is trying to watch the only person on the couch who has seen the show yap the whole time. Before some white knights come at me, I would have the same take if say Brig has seen the show and was yapping the whole time. It makes for terrible reactions.

When i first watched 151 i had to rewatch the last 10 min right after cuz they pack so much stuff in there. first of all, Doffys drip is unmatched. So far we know 4 characters in the story with the Initial D. in their name. Monkey D. Luffy, Marshall D. Teach(Blackbeard), Portgas D. Ace and Gol D. Roger, so just something to keep an eye on as the story goes on. The Pirate(Rockstar) who came to negotiate with Whitebeard was a newcomer in Shanks crew, and he had almost a 100m berry bounty, and the fact that whitebeards subordinates didn't even care who he was just tells you the different level of power and influence that legends like Whitebeard and Shanks have compared to rookies like the Straw hats. Sengoku is the main man of the entire navy and the four elders are the pillars of the world government and they essentially oversee everything that is going on in the world(very important figures).

The uniqueness of this fight is that Luffy only throws a single punch but it's way more satisfying than if it was all long and drawn out with a bunch back and forth and different moves. Also I think is significant, is that Bellamy is really focusing on his devil fruit, where as Luffy doesn't even use his power in this fight. He just punches Bellamy with perfect accuracy and enough force to put a god damn dent in his face. Then it's followed up with an insane amount of world building. This is peak Luffy to me and the world you get a tease of is peak One Piece.

2025-02-26 05:47:19 +0000 UTCAbout the bounties: a Warlord’s bounty stops rising once they go from regular pirate to Warlord. So the ones we’ve seen now, for Doflamingo and Kuma, are just frozen from who knows when. Same goes for Crocodile’s. His too was frozen.

The last time they used one pace, the length of episodes dropped had been reduced so that was disappointing because I would’ve hoped they’d watched at least one more episode. @Jack: I do personally believe that you should use the one pace for the second half of the arc and for post-timeskip arcs, but it’s ultimately up to y’all. This is the first type of some of my favorite One Piece episodes throughout the series, and they only get more consistent and elevated as the series goes on. Doflamingo, Kuma, Whitebeard, and Blackbeard/crew are insane introductions to have in one episode, plus the Navy/Government names as well. Definitely an episode worth rewatching if you think you missed anything (names especially). Hoping you guys saved the discussion outro for the end of the arc next episode. (And Luffy would be proud of the Dorito conveyor belt)

This is why I was waiting for jaya, its not necessarily a top 5 arc in the traditional sense, but this is when I vividly remember my daily episode pace getting much higher. A lot of people really underestimate how bad the pacing is in these early arcs, and One Pace helps while not removing anything important. Biggest complaint I see are the choppy edits with music, which I never even noticed when I watched it, so I'm curious to see what you guys think.

This is the arc that made MoistCritikal make his video about how boring he finds One Piece to be I hate to anti-hype like this but people keep hyping up arcs that'll inevitably lead to disappointment for the boys. YES, it has some AMAZING moments and episodes but that's all people seem to remember it for. People forget how long this arc is and how slow a large portion of it is. This seems to be a common theme with people's memories of the One Piece anime Basically, the arc takes a significant amount of time to get going, but once it hits its stride it has a pretty great run Some later arcs are genuine peak through-and-through that you won't be disappointed by so there's plenty to look forward to
