I can't wait any longer, need to watch the new ep lol, I'll rewatch here with you guys. Usually I watch along with you weekly, I read the whole manwha in between S1E1 and S1E2 were released, watching with the Geks is always great.

2025-02-23 04:52:38 +0000 UTCIf anyone is confused about what happens after Baran blows Tusk away: Iron attacks him, but gets his head sliced through and body blown apart by Baran's lightning attack. Then, Igris tries to swing his sword down at him, but Baran catches his sword with his bare hand and then blows the top half of his body away with his lightning breath attack. That's when Jinwoo comes in to stab him with Fatal Strike(Critical Attack from the manhwa). It gets blocked, which usually doesn't happen since it's a powerful skill, so he gets surprised. Which allows Baran to grab his head and lift him up. Just as Baran is about to kill him, Igris and Iron throw up their weapons from Jinwoo's shadow below to block Baran's sword, while Tusk grabs him by the back from under his arms. He gets distracted, Jinwoo stabs the arm holding his head with his two daggers, and Igris runs his sword through Baran's other arm to incapacitate him. So Baran gets mad and unleashes his lightning storm attack in that bright blue orb around him to push them all back. When it starts raining, Jinwoo runs out of mana, so he fights Baran one on one. They exchange blows for a while, until Baran uses his lightning breath attack again, which is difficult to block when Jinwoo is so close to him. So he ends up losing his daggers when he parries the attack upwards, panics because Baran is following up immediately with his own daggers, which he doesn't have time to block even if he resummons his own weapons. So he grabs Baran by his wrists instead, almost gets killed by the lightning breath again, which is when Esil helps by throwing her weapon and hitting Baran in the head. He turns to look at Esil to find this other threat, gets distracted enough for Jinwoo think for a moment and activate his Ruler's Hand skill to combine with his crazy strength stats (which he wasn't able to make full use of because it was a weapon's fight before this). He rips off Baran's arms, the animation goes insane and sketchy and he clocks Baran from below right under his chin, where his head explodes from the force and he dies. The end. It's probably a little confusing on the first few watches. Lord knows I already read the manhwa 10000 times, and even I couldn't really tell what was happening in some parts cause it went so fast. So here's hoping that this explanation will appease some of the anime only fans who didn't understand what was happening in some parts:)

Chairman Go is concerned that since the ant can fly up to 120km away from Jeju Island(which is one of South Korea's islands), they can probably reach the mainland of South Korea if they master their flying abilities any more. - In the meeting, it was actually shown how the ants evolved. At first, they crawled along the ground like normal ants with six legs, and they couldn't fly, but after the first and second raids on the island, they gradually changed to stand more upright, almost like a human. There were also changes to their eyes to adjust to fighting in the daytime compared to the darkness of their caves iirc. And then ofc, they eventually evolved to have wings and could stand up and walk like a human. - There are 21 S-rank hunters in Japan, so since 11 of them are in the Drawn Sword Guild, Goto Ryuji's guild holds all the power in Japan, unlike South Korea where there are 5 major guilds competing with one another. - When Chairman Go mentions the Drawn Sword Guild is the second largest in Asia, he says the largest guild in Asia is a Chinese guild, which is not surprising considering the sheer size of China's population haha!

It was a funny lil interaction in the manhwa since Jinwoo's head is full of getting stronger but his words come off as having different intentions many times HAHAHAH Also, in the manhwa, Jinwoo actually refers to Jinho and Esil as "dorks" and he wonders if he just has the type of vibe that attracts people like them HAHAHA

I can usually understand everything that's going on in other fights that have been considered too difficult to understand, but this was insane. Everything else was really good though, and still a top 4 episode in the series.
