What I love about One Piece is you can watch an episode, and things in that episode can give you payoff next episode, and also in 50 episodes, and also in 500 episodes. There's so much interactivity in the world and it's details and I think that's what makes me love it so much, but also what makes the rewatches so enjoyable. I think that's also why people hit a point in the show where they become a much bigger One Piece fan if they continue on long enough, because you get to some moment where suddenly you see things all connecting in a way that really excites you and it's not just a bunch of episodes but truly a world of One Piece.

I view it more as: she had accepted death, so now that she was forced to live she's allowing herself to just live with the crew in a carefree new life. As she said she's given up on her dream and that's why she wanted to die, Alabasta was her last lead. Basically like she's a new person without the worries of her past self and just letting Luffy guide her life while being more passive. She told them she always worked alone and used others as cover while she traveled. This is the first time she's just letting herself live a carefree life

17:50, you can see luffy changes his tune when Bellamy says it's a test not a fight. Meaning it wasn't a fight of anything on the line like luffy usually engages in. So bellamy wasn't worth attacking as he just wanted to see if luffy was worthy of his standards and luffy didn't give an f about that. That’s what I got from it anyway.

When I watched this for the first time, I thought it was a cool scene here and there. Now that I've caught up with the anime and manga, I cannot fathom how a single person wrote all of this, and planned everything for 28 years. The video titled "The breathtaking world of One Piece" is definitely correctly titled. People who watch it for the first time think it's the visuals and scale of the world that is breathtaking. I feel like this scene was great for defining Luffy's character. Zoro didn't fight because his captain ordered him not to. Luffy didn't fight because these people weren't even worth it especially when he heard Bellamy say the era of dreams is over and Luffy unclenches his fist. He learned from Shanks that some fights weren't even worth it Bellamy didn't pose any real threat to Luffy, his crew, or his goal of being pirate king so there wasn't any point in fighting.

“PEOPLES DREAMS NEVER END!” Such a goated scene. that bar scene with “pie guy” and his speech about dreams and why pirates need to keep that ideology of dreams alive contrast to pirates like bellamy is still one of my favorite scenes to this day. the way they show you the people around luffy and the dude laughing at them for having dreams and goals that seem unrealistic is very real. I also like how the npcs laughing at them are shaded out in that one shot, it shows that they dont care or pay attention to what anyone thinks of them or what dreams they have. There are also many other reasons why this scene is goated but don’t want to spoil anything thats way later in the story.
