Now if you were to read my comment, you would see I mentioned both shows with different points covering exactly what you're talking about. There's no misinformation being spread lol you just didn't make yourself clear enough by calling UBW "fate stay night" with no mention of the other parts of the name that differentiate it. There's a reason people write out UBW and heavens feel and zero and illyiad and aprocypha and babylonia. Because they're all different shows and just plain fate/stay night already exists as it's own show, the first one that was adapted. Now the sass is out the way, my point still stands. It's all preference and majority likes zero first, I've seen it that way for years on reaction channels and for just people I personally know and internet suggestions. It's rare someone does the stay night trilogy before Zero, but it's not a wrong choice either.

Maybe it’s not so bad for someone going in blind but even so it goes from gritty and real to like a CW show. Like supernatural. Which I love supernatural but that’s not what the Witcher is.

Don’t get me wrong I love anime and have been watching it for nearly 20 years but I’d love to see yall watch something a bit different! I’d also recommend reading berserk. I’m currently reading it and tried to watch the animes and they just don’t compare.

See now your point changed it went from they won't like fate zero at all to they'll like orb more. Early in their season 2 reactions they said they enjoy season 2 a lot more because they're done all the setup. If you watch their Solo Leveling season 2 reactions they literally say they look forward to it each week and get hype with each amazing fight with just how good the animation is. You say they they like storytelling and I said before I don't deny that but you're completely ignoring my points on animation and fights. Fate has some of the best animation, fights, sound design. It's evident they love fights and animation that's why a lot of the anime they watch are shonen (Naruto, Kaiju, OPM, Solo Leveling, JJK, HxH). I mean look at all these shonen they watch and you say the geks won't like it at all? That's just such a hot take. So I understand your point on storytelling but its like you're denying that they love their fights with incredible animation.

2025-02-16 04:35:49 +0000 UTCI gotta vote Berserk I love the og Berserk '97 anime adaptation but sadly it's only just an intro to the story and the rest of the manga has yet to receive an actually good adaptation it is a great gateway to getting someone into the manga but that's really it the manga is the best thing I've ever had the pleasure of reading and the awful cgi 2016 anime is an insult to its legacy there's no way anyone can watch that as a continuation over reading the manga and it is a shame because i'm very unsure if any of the boys would pick it up and read the rest of the story after and Berserk 2016, the adaptation that adapts the arcs after '97 is notoriously one of the worst adaptations ever made. That being said still voting for it because while not the complete story, Berserk '97 is an amazing watch. was how i got into Berserk and I'll forever love it!

It's a show that definitely isn't as deep story wise to AOT or Vinland and yet they love it. They love it because of the peak fight animation and the strong aura farmer Sung Jinwoo. So I still don't get why you say they won't like Fate. It's not like it has no story; each character has their own motivations and ideologies. It has amazing animation and strong characters.

Fate literally is seinen mixed with shonen with tons of incredibly animated fights that include powerful characters. The animation is also top tier bc of ufotable. Also, I don't want to go through the Black Swordsman arc again lol. Aaaand I'm a firm believer that Berserk should be consumed as manga only (until a good enough adaptation comes around, if it ever happens). Voting Link Click on this one because I've always wanted to watch it but never got to it, so it'd be my first time. Watching it with the boys could be cool.

Link Click is a mystery Chinese donghua, whereas Samurai Champloo is a historical anime that incorporates hip hop culture so well. It has one of the best lofi hip hop, jazz hip hop music. Both will increase diversity in the channel. We already have so many battle shonen anime on the channel at the same time. It’s just me.

Even though Orb isn’t hype up as mainstream anime, it has mostly solid writing (ironically, I’m hyping up Orb which is a risk). You guys decided to react to Vinland Saga on your own when your Death Note reactions were taken down due to copyright issues, and for a few of you, it was one of the best decisions. I’m somewhat confident at least of few of you will enjoy Orb.

The UBW anime was made after zero’s anime but the original source material had stay night before zero. The only reason the zero anime was made first was because the original stay night anime already existed. Yes some prequels work fine to be seen first, zero isn’t one of them. The plot points that zero spoils are far more essential to the story of stay night than the plot points that stay night spoils for zero.

Yes they both spoil eachother but nothing important in zero is spoiled if you watch stay night first, because that’s how the author wrote it.
