I can relate, Brig. I definitely wasn't completely bought in after the first season either. I started watching this show when the third season was being released so after I watched the first season all the way through, I put off watching the second for quite some time. After seeing all the hype as each episode was released I came back to this show and it easily became one of my favorites next to AoT and HxH.

One thing I really like about One's work. OPM and MP100 is that they either fixate on world building or character growth as a person, its never about them developing their powers to overcome their challenges which too many animes/mangas already do.

This is such a wholesome episode! I love that they both impacted each other. Mob decided to consider his feeling more, and she finally stood up for herself instead of trying to fit in with those girls. I can’t stop smiling after watching it☺️

They do them at the end of the year. Which is definitely an interesting choice. Just feels like the vibes would be way better if they watched it while watching the show. Watching season 1's OP after finishing the whole series just feels a little bizarre.

I rarely get emotional on these kind of stories but Mob has a grip on my heart and this episode makes me teary eyed every damn time. I love this show so much, and season 2 just steppes up massively from season 1. What an banger of an first episode for season 2. <3 BTW: The amazing part when fixing her novel was that he actually did read and pay attention otherwise it would be all messed up. IMO this is a perfect one-episode storyline and it remains one of my favourite episodes in the entire series. There might be better fight scenes/tension in other episodes but this one is just 10/10 in terms of how it makes you feel through character writing. Emi is such a cool character and I love that she got to be flawed. It's kind of funny how well ONE writes insecure teenage girls

Tears were shed during the “you have to pick up things that are important” 😭😭 I forget how emotional this series can be. Mob is seriously the most endearing character.
