As for the logic behind the game: cant stay at the base after up 6k because items amount to more than 6k, both the winner and loser are inactive so they cant just touch each other right after, and lastly they gave at the end because all opposing members have 10k+ so they cant win a battle. And again, yall keep forgetting to treat it like an anime so yes character building conversations happen. It annoys the crap out of you here but again, anime does this every other episode and its fine.

2025-02-06 01:51:50 +0000 UTCI thought it was obvious Usagi bit off Niragi's piercing during the first attempted rape scene, and yet he had it in his mouth every time after. A 7/10 show still for me despite people keep saying season 2 gets better. The cringe acting still continues. The anime/manga character quirks, looks, costumes, camera shots, superhuman athletics, etc. dont translate convincingly into live action, yet they keep trying to do all this. If the show tried to have its own identity more natural to the live action medium, it would have felt less immersion breaking. Some of the script, especially some of the lines are so cringe its really hard to not pull some eye muscles while rolling. At least one of Kyuma's friends was the actor that played Toranaga's brother in Shogun so that was really cool.

But then although I like Kento, I think the shows he participated in are a mixed bag - some are good, some are bad ngl. I watched his movie “Kingdom” recently, it’s a series that contain 4 seasons. That was pretty decent though the ending of the last season is not very impressive. Yes, “Orange” is a really sad but heartwarming movie 🥺😭

We go for a walk after crossing two streets our neighbour opens his door his dog came out my nephew scream and he start running after us we both holding hands and starts running and screaming. When i look back he was still behind us... The more scariest thing was we were crossing roads with no traffic signal and i said to him plz watch traffic but he was not listening just holding my hand tightly and running but Thankgod we reached home door was opened my nephew was shaking and continuously repeating i will never go for a walk never...That was my scariest experience because i had to protect my little bestie🙂

2025-02-05 04:23:16 +0000 UTCJust to explain a little: - When they were in the lead after the 1st round, it wouldn’t work for Arisu’s team five of them to just stay at their base and touch the base waiting because the King of Clubs team could gain more points by finding items and surpass them at the early stage. So not a good idea to passively stay there and wait without actively finding more items. [Edit: Great seeing Carter realised and mentioned this problem towards the end.] - It makes sense for Arisu to battle alone with Kyuma because then he could see Kyuma’s point. If Arisu and Kuina battled together and combined points, they wouldn’t see their opponent’s points. So battling alone makes Arisu figure out that the King of Clubs team is splitting their points equally. - Brig was right there. Even if Tatta touches the base and becomes active again, it wouldn’t work touching the King of Clubs team immediately afterwards because the team members are all inactive. King of Clubs team would have to go back to their own base to become active, otherwise Tatta (even if he becomes active touching the base) touching them (all inactive) will get shocked; he wouldn’t gain any points doing so.

I like how with Clubs game, because it’s all about teamwork, the game is multidimensional and could go so many different directions depending on the strategies and teammates. This game together with the dialogues between Arisu and Kyuma also serve important purposes: 1) To give a little bit of hints what kind of world this is. To give information that all the players have to fight against the Kings/Queen/Jack (i.e. the citizens of this world) to win the games. 2) Searching for your true self and your true character - the King of Clubs being naked is indeed consistent with his emphasis on showing the true nature and character of oneself. 3) Comparing equality vs inequality - the King of Clubs sees equality as the most important thing in teamwork whereas Arisu’s team members aren’t really equal; especially because they didn’t know each other before, they’ve only just met each others in this world and they had conflicts/arguments before, even Arisu and Usagi have disagreements as to whether to return to the original world. With the King of Clubs being the kindest King out of all, his existence is really there to show his ideology while at the same time bring out Arisu’s true character, and let Arisu overcome his fear and reflect on his own meaning of life.

You said why are they still linking up when they know they have more points, Arisu said at the beginning the link ups purpose is not just to have more points but because its impossible for the other team to find out how many points they each have. 1v1 they know how many points the other has when its deducted, with a link up they have no clue which person has more points since they only see the total.

No weapons allowed and only fair play. They have the upper hand because of their close relationship. They value each other equally and aren't afraid to fight/die for one another. Right now, we're looking rough. Arisu and Usagi are still tense from their previous convo. Tatta and Kuina are insecure. Niragi idgaf is an ass.
