2025-02-11 12:14:37 +0000 UTCthe manga cooks like crazy, some of the best fight choreography i've ever seen. the assassins you meet throughout are super cool, and the strong ones are frightening. the story transitions from more comedy/action to mostly action with a serious plot. I hope you stick with it or maybe come back when more of the material is adapted.

All in all the anime will hopefully act as manga advertising, because even these simpler fights are super sick in the manga, and, for me at least, they don't hit the same in the show.

2025-02-03 03:39:10 +0000 UTCI would highly suggest Jackie Chan's Drunken Master 2. It is not a sequel, he had made a drunk master movie when he was younger so this was just a second one. It's one of his best movies and one of the best martial arts films.

The storry really locks in after the first like 8 chapters in the manga and its been running since. I have a google sheet rating all manga arcs I've read and I don't think I've given an arc less than an 8? maybe, but i don't think so. For whatever that is worth. I relate to Brig and Cannon's takes the most, then Carter.

2025-02-01 23:53:11 +0000 UTCFor me the first episode was between an 8 or a 9 because it showed potential. All the rest after were like a 6 or a 7 into a freefall. Is this show going anywhere? Usually the best shows are made by good antagonists, and in this show they are all a complete joke. Not to mention the main character is basically a plot device himself, so I keep waiting for it to go somewhere interesting but its not giving any indication its going to do so whatsoever.

And I just learned that even the MCs in both Sakamoto Days and Gintama have the same voice actor. Having watched Gintama, this type of story does feel repetitive, but I have no idea where it's going.

I asked him how the heck did they get there and then i realized that you guys only posted 3 episodes, not 4. However I HIGHLY recommend someone reading the manga. The fight art and choreo is so good I think it would take way too much for animation to match it.
