For Japanese Dramas, It's Good Morning Call or Honey Come Home. But I did watch the live action Bleach movie a while back ago. However, I prefer the acting in Kdramas. They feel the most polished.

Without a doubt, this show hits you on so many levels. It truly makes you ponder and question your existence and purpose while also encouraging you to face your fears head on. Which in turn, that leads you to strive to fight harder even at the expense of walking closer to death. Oh, episode 7 is so good and full of intense moments. It really hits its peak then. They're going to be stunned... I'm looking forward to witnessing it. I kind of rambled lol 🤭😲

I understand ppl might have different takes/opinions on the anime-like acting, I can see why and I totally respect that. But whether you find it natural/realistic or not, Chishiya’s nonchalant character is indeed very consistent throughout the entire show; he’s very truthful to his character. I don’t want to spoil it here, but all I can say for now is Chishiya’s backstory actually explains quite well why he’s so nonchalant and why he acts like that. It does kind of make sense after learning what he has gone through before in the original world. So to me, even though Chishiya is not like normal everyday person and doesn’t act like what a normal person would act in those intense situations, how he acts actually make sense in light of his nonchalant character, well explained and consistent throughout.

Characters randomly dropping one liners in intense situations. Like when Chishiya nonchalantly said you shouldn’t hide behind cars while standing in the wide open with his hands in his pockets after watching people get split in half by an antitank rifle. Don’t get me wrong I like the premise of the show but I feel like the characters could act a little more realistic and natural.

I also like the contrast of the two characters: the random girl (who wants to be taken out by the King of Spades) having enough and doubting the purpose of fighting anymore in this world vs. Usagi not wanting to go back to the original world doubting the purpose of living in the original world.
