As someone with borderline personality disorder, I really relate to mob and they way he handles his emotions. One of my top 5 easily. I mean you're not far off. ONE didn't have any training in art in the traditional sense. He had the passion to write the story for One Punch Man and despite the more simplistic and unrefined art became a major hit due to its story and characters. Murata worked with ONE to do the art for One Punch Man but the art for Mob Psycho is much more akin to ONE's art style.

Just to give some context as to why the Mob Psycho art style is different is because ONE the author of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho didn't have any traditional background in art prior to his stories. Even without that though he created One Punch Man which became a major webcomic despite his more simplistic and unrefined art due to the storytelling and characters. I'd recommend giving Mob Psycho another try because I myself put it off for so long with how it looked but the characters and story itself were amazing and the art grew on me. Also the animation goes nuts.

You won't regret it! Try to watch until the end of season 1 and you'll realize how great the story and the character writing is in this show which is just a preview to the other two seasons. I was also skeptical in the beginning but it's genuinely one of the best animes I've seen!

Sometimes I can't believe people dislike the art style. It's definitely fun and unique and the simplicity of the art style feels like it allows for more expressive and crazy animation. It's a style that's pretty refreshing to me honestly. The art style also improves as you continue watching. This is just simply my opinion! I love MP100 very much and it will always be one of my Top 10. Excited to see more reactions towards more episodes as I think all 3 seasons are bangers 😎👍

I watch most of my anime in dub. Mainly because it's hard for me to focus on the action and subtitles at times. I'm not sure why people hate dub so much. It seems like they do a good job with the cast for both sub and dub. But, to each their own. That being said if they prefer sub then that's their choice. We should all watch it in the format we want.

Honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with liking dub and sub. I know the Japanese voice actors work very hard and are super talented with carrying their reprising roles but so are the english voice actors. I just thought the guys might like the dub for something a little different. Plus, they can always revert back to sub if they absolutely hate it. With Mob Psycho 100, the dub is pretty good surprisingly. Hope I don't get a lot of hate for this :-( lol

I don't think sub would make it better for you. FMAB is my favorite anime and I have seen it a lot of times, in both sub and dub, and dub always comes out on top for me when I rewatch. Which is surprising because I vastly prefer sub on the majority of anime I have seen. Mob for example is way better in sub for me.

Its Characters based on real life writers having powers that are based on the writers most popular book (like the great gatsby etc.) fighting crime and mafia organizations (who are also based on writers and have powers based on a book. Its interesting to see how the real life of the writers the characters are based on also influence the dynamics of the characters. Currently has 5 (6?) seasons and 2/3 movies.

You have two choices: Watch until episode 3 to 5 and then see if you like the show (in my honest opinion, better story than OPM) or buy table salt from the store and perform a salt splash on yourself.

I'm sure others said, but the mangaka known as "One" created both one punch man, and mob psycho 100. His artwork was really not great. One punch man got picked up by others and the art beautified basically. I had heard with Mob Psycho when they did the anime they wanted it to still have that rough look that One's art has, but obviously... complete?

Mob Psycho 100 was done with sooo much love by the production team and it shows. The story is really simple but so good and with a message too! I love my child Mob 😭❤️ Btw Reigen has the same voice actor as Suzaku and Geto, I know you probably won't notice since they are very different lol I'm so excited for this!!!

If we're going by specific episodes, I'd say some one piece episodes, some jjk s2 episodes, some csm, some frieren and some demon slayer episodes have better animation but I agree mob psycho is just so consistent with high quality animation and when it pops off its crazy.

I was meaning the humor with Reigen's voice. It's just weird hearing it in Japanese. Because, I love the english dub so much and I personally think it's more funny and extra. And I like Mob's voice in the dub too. But that's just my opinion. It's one of the only instances where I actually prefer the dub over sub. Haha

Mob Psycho is one of the best anime I have ever seen, it's truly such an incredibly special anime. The amount of care and passion that Studio Bones put into it is absolutely ridiculous. It's important to tell you guys that this story is not centered around the battles or even heavy on the plot. The main focus here are the characters. The characters are the heart of the story, and their emotional growth, struggles, and relationships are what make this anime unique and a masterpiece. Genuinely 1 of 1. 10/10
