I mean it was very obvious at that point it was going to be the frontman, sometimes you can't help but predict something. Furthermore, it's fun trying to guess what happens next and it doesn't take away from the immersion at all. And if something is so predictable that you have to turn your brain off to feel any suspense, then maybe it's just not naturally suspenseful. The second they showed that it would come down to 001 to decide, I too knew exactly that it was the Frontman. It was super obvious.

Like, it's cool that you can take a step back and think all the options and predict that Frontman is the player 001, but everyone's like throwing all these predictions, and not letting the show do its naturally surprise to you. I like watching Reaction channels, like you guys, cause I like seeing the surprise of plot twists. But it's just off sometimes, like this situation, where none of you are surprised cause 3 of you were frantically predicting it, and proclaiming it every 2 seconds, and not really immersed in the show's suspense.

But it’s typically not East Asians but Central Asians like from Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, East Russia,etc. The gene that causes us to have light brown hair (which I have), or green/blue/grey eyes or very pale skin while also looking Asian is not from being mixed in a modern way of understanding and it doesn’t come from our Slavic (White) neighbours. Central Asians by default always had those recessive genes that may have passed to us from Persia thousands of years ago. So it makes us 100% Asian, but not a 100% East Asian. And some of us do end up looking Eurasian and kind of Wasian despite none of our close ancestors being White. For example you can google, Aya Shalkar. Westerners are used to seeing only East Asians like Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc who do tend to have only dark hair. But in reality there is more diversity to being Asian )) Sorry for rambling, I just love this topic. You probably won’t even read this

But I'm assuming Carter was curious about East Asians, in which case I would say like 98% of them have black/dark brown hair. There are very few Mongolians or Chinese minority groups that have blonde/red hair but it's very very rare

If you are asking about East Asians, I am not sure they have them as well, maybe less than Central Asia and Middle East. I don't know any popular blond South Korean actors, but I know some with light hazel eyes. BTW Thanos and pregnant girl are famous Kpop singers/rappers. Thanos is actually a very skilled rapper TOP. 2024-12-29 08:14:22 +0000 UTCWhat's interesting is that TOP (Thanos) is playing the role of a drug addict in Squid Game when he got involved in a "marijuana scandal" years before which is still a big deal for korean netizens today, a lot of them even wanted to boycott this show because he's in it. I personally think he doesn't deserve to be ostracized to such a degree for something that happened so long ago, and for an addiction that a lot of people suffer from. Especially since he openly said he was struggling with his mental health. I think TOP said around 4 years ago that he will never promote in Korea again because of how badly they treated him. Maybe that's why I don't see him with the other actors in any promotional videos for Squid Games.

Even tho the vote was close(or tie ig) and half did want to stay, it was more realistic and tense..like the cheering to stay and die is insane. Some of the players this season were like too npc. “you can give us tips” like no that’s not how it works lol

Risking your own life is one thing, but condemning hundreds of other people to their deaths who don't even want to participate so you can have the smallest chance of winning is awful. They're cheering about it after having watched people get their brains blown out in front of them; it's simply not something any decent or intelligent person would do, let alone half of the entire group.

Such a goated actor, his performances in both ‘The Glory’ and ‘Queen of Tears’ were insane. I just knew he was going to body another character once again

When people were sent home after the first game in season 1, not all returned to play the games again. So, other contestants besides Gi-hun "survived" the games, even though they didn't participate to the end like he did. It'd be interesting if some of them came into play in any capacity. You could have like half of the contestants leave voluntarily through the vote (increased money without increased deaths) while those who want to participate come back. I guess the participants didn't know that and Gi-hun didn't mention it
