I will say that many of yall's dreams for this show might come true in the Manga but unfortunately the anime adaptation decided that it was important so they cut everything out. They re adapting more then 100 chapters into a single movie... They re cutting more then half of the remaining content of the manga..

2024-12-11 12:38:27 +0000 UTCThe way I always tear up when Tashiro (the senior from Karasuno who told Daichi and the third years to grab their opportunity to revive Karasuno if they ever saw it) gets flashbacks to the time when the three third years were still lil babies in their first year and then it transitions to them playing so expertly in the present game. I always get chills when the announcers introduce Hoshiumi. The ost that plays in the background is so epic!! His character design is very much reminiscent of a seagull if you guys aren't aware haha. There's a funny meme that goes around the fandom that says everyone in Haikyuu has weird hair colours and eye colours but still manage to look like a normal human for the most part, and then there's Hoshiumi who basically looks like a bird. I laugh so hard at it every time. Hinata always has that crazy, thousand-yard stare with an unnervingly unhinged expression and we love to see it HAHAH! He's done that thrice so far, iirc, once in s1 ep1, once in s4 ep 4, and now once in s4 ep 12! Seeing someone who's in a fundamentally similar position as him playing so much better than he does really made him want to improve, and it's always heartwarming to see Hinata striving to be the best version of himself, which is what Hoshiumi's character is basically implying. And I liked it so much, I actually read the manga three times. Also I think the only way for the anime to give the manga justice is with one more season plus a movie, or just a season. I also personally feel like Bokuto's little quirks are part of his charms.
