I can understand if some people dont get with it because the vibe and style is SO strange and the bits of humor are SO dry, like crispy dry, but there are lines that make me lol and the plot is sooooo intriguing. Also you don't need a previous series to be invested in a show. Regardless, it's still considered a slow burn show to the point that some people drop it (not that I agree) And again, it's the first episode. I don't know what you consider "action packed" but Severance has plenty of "oh shit" moments that will surely make them jump from their seat. I don't think it's a slow paced show, not the first season at least.

YaboyRoshi reacted to this and is one of the best reaction series they had in a while. It also really depends on the reactor.
