Initially i voted Aib and then i saw so many comment on the recommendation post so i got interested and last week end i just bingewatched The glory like a fool. What a great show. You will not get disappointed 🫡. Hope next poll it can be great ranked and boys check this serie.

However after trying it again, I love it so far. But yeah The Glory is so different from what the geks have watched. I think they would really like it and would be surprised by the solid acting and deep rooted revenge story. It keeps you on edge.

The entire animated side is heavily dominated by Japanese shows (understandably ig), but it does sort of limit things for the live-action.

Thought it was gonna be an overhyped show cause of all the attention it was getting from Kdrama fans around the time it aired, so I wasn’t planning on watching it. Thanks to him, I gave it a go and have no regrets. One of my top 5 favourite Kdrama’s of all time

Would love for them to do both MHA and Bleach one day, but I think everyone would prefer some variety. I'm hoping for Monster or Stein's Gate, but I'm also hoping they liked Haikyuu enough to have a dedicated sports anime slot. Would love for them to watch either Kuroko or Ace of Diamond.

Also Stranger Things or breaking bad 4% ... interesting 🫠 and FFS TWD with it's 300 seasons I watched that like 10 years ago, until season 6/7 but it gets so repetitive couldn't continue while the beginning was good though. But it's wayy too long they should have wrapped it up around season 6.

Castlevania is the only one that I can remember on the polls that I'd really want them to watch. I'd have to watch more anime to have suggestions and I don't love watching reactions to things I haven't watched before. If your top pick is eliminated, the next pick will take your vote. They'd have to do a poll on another site though as I don't think Patreon could do something like that without a bunch of posts. The multiple-choice one is more simple though.

Also the only Kdrama’s that have made it onto the polls are Squid Game and The Glory. That’s it, they are the only two. Plus Squid Game was on the polls for awhile before it got picked up. People need to stop mistaking Kdrama’s and Japanese live actions as being the same things. There’s no point in making a seperate poll for Kdrama’s when they hardly get recommended and make it on the live actions polls in the first place. Unless the guys want to explore into Kdrama territory but otherwise it’s fine as it is. It doesn’t even look like The Glory is gonna win anytime soon anyway

Most people here are anime fans, which means that a lot of people prefer K&J dramas because many are manhwa adaptations and are very similar to anime in structure, setting, plot, so they would fit more in an anime poll or Kdrama poll. I would break it down even more e.g. when you're done with Hajkyu you could make a "Sports Anime Poll" so that you give sports anime fans a chance that their anime has a chance to win (pls watch Daiya no Ace) 🤓 This way you can also prevent the different factions from fighting each other

GOT has many different storylines with a massive cast of characters, witty dialogue, clever foreshadowing, and fantastic world-building. VS is super action-heavy but very emotional and gets more character-driven later on with its incredibly powerful themes and parallels. The only thing all 3 share is the period feels Medieval/Viking-themed. I'd hardly consider that a good enough reason to recommend a show.

I have been with you guys since the start of this channel and I KNOW you will love it. As for the votes, I am severely disappointed at how high the numbers are for the Walking Dead. That show should be deleted from existence, as it is the best definition of masochistic nonsensical torture porn. I stopped watching it when most of the viewers did in season 7 but it got so stale MUCH earlier (probably as early as post season 2), but it was only because of THAT moment in season 7 that I realized there was really no real reason to watch that show unless you want to feel constantly tortured and with no sensible narrative reason.

The quality of these shows are tremendously different. I mean fare its a community poll and people can vote for whatever they like but im just saying that there are reasons on why some of the shows that i just mentioned are so critically acclaimed and highly praised as the greatest. Honestly, that goes for any show listed here I haven't seen - which is likely the case since I haven't seen a lot of these series. As awesome as having a favorite show win a poll is, the best thing about "losing" in this kind of poll is the potential of discovering a new favorite.
