Don't take the slander so seriously, I honestly think they're half joking when they say those things too, but even if they aren't at least they pay attention to the story and have an open mind when it comes to these characters :)

2024-12-06 19:43:19 +0000 UTCmy heart hurt when y’all were roasting asahi like that :( i know that y’all are allowed to dislike certain characters, but i feel like y’all misunderstand asahi quite a bit. he isn’t as flashy or as charasmatic as everybody from karasuno, but he’s a stabling presence and he’s one of the sweetest characters! you’ll notice that in a handful of scenes.. he’s daichi’s right hand man. maybe it’s the writing of his character that throws y’all off, but he’s still our ace and a key player to karasuno’s success!!

The scene with Hinata and Natsu was so cute. It'd be cool if they did a spinoff where she ends up playing volleyball. I've been enjoying reading the manga. I'm on chapter 37 now.

2024-12-06 12:32:17 +0000 UTCTo try and clear something up for you guys because its been something that has been brought up several times. Hinata is on the bench because Tsuki is in the front. Basically a team will have two middle blockers that rotate through. For example, when Tsuki goes to serve, Hinata will rotate into the front court for Nishinoya, this is the only rotation where they will not have a libero. Once Tsuki loses the serve, he will rotate out for Nishinoya. This is not counted as a substitute so basically you can think of each team as having 7 players per side. In the first episode of this upload they were just focusing on the chemistry between Tsuki and Kageyama so we didnt see anything from Hinata, it's not that Hinata wasn't playing, he just wouldn't be on the court because Tsuki is in. Hope that clears it up a little bit for you!

And Asahi is the teams Ace, no doubt. with all the Asahi slander, you guys didn't notice what he was trying to do that entire time, nor did you mention that Tanaka was getting brutalized as well. The Iron Wall crushes wing spikes like Asahi and Tanaka. That's also why Hinata was giving Kageyama crap for not going down the middle to help open up the wings. I get why Asahi is your least fav main Karasuno player (starters + noya, suga, and gucci), and I kind of agree, but damn pretty sure atleast two of you kinda hate him.

Tanaka trying to do that insane cut shot that he's been trying since they saw Bokuto do it during their first training camp is something most people don't pick up on the first watch haha! Also y'all's beef with Asahi has me in stitches. To be fair to him, these two episodes showed Asahi missing a lot of his spikes or getting shut out because he was trying to do something new with his timing. If y'all noticed, he waited for the blockers to start going down before gathering all his strength and spiking the ball! Basically, he's been a "bum" these two episodes because he's been trying and failing to match his timing correctly to get the effect that he wants. Don't be too hard on him HAHA!

Only time they're both on the court is when either is serving. Since the ep was focusing on Tsuki's issues, Hinata was out during those points.
