You should consider that Germany was a war country and there were many people missing/ having amnesia/ soldiers during 1900-1950s I guess. There were also 2 Germanies at some point, I assume they are in West Germany, there were many refugees from East Germany who didn't have documents. I think Boris Newald aka Alexander Tiedemann is from East Germany for example. Plus most of them live normal life outside of documents related professions I guess. Like if Ulrich tried to become policeman it would have been difficult. But Mikkel living peaceful life as a child whose parents they can't find seems logical.

Hope you guys understand Hannah is massively responsible to Jonas turning into Adam. If she hadn't stolen the suitcase to go find her affair buddy, he could have changed things. Instead he was forced into 1888 stuck to become Adam because of her selfish move. This also meant she wasn't there when young Jonas came home in 2020. She abandoned her child 2x. By 1890 as Bartosz says he doesn't want to stop the apocalypse anymore. He at this point is now convinced Adam was right, and that he needs to become him to erase all of this. Knowledge of Eva's world is what changes Middle Jonas into Adam. By the time Hannah shows up he has been stuck there another 21 years of getting the machine to work and getting mega scarred in the process. 100% in character and consistently built up he'd kill her like that.

The only thing close to a plot hole I could find on this show is the whole situation around documents. I don't know how these things work in Germany, but from where I'm from, no matter the time period you're in, if you don't have some sort of ID it's nearly impossible to navigate through life. And here all these people keep traveling to and from all different periods of time and they never get in trouble for not being able to identify themselves officially (except for Ulrich, I guess). Other than that, to me this is the definitive work of art surrounding time travel. Really brilliant minds the ones responsible for it.

I was just making a point that the episodes with the crazy Mikkel and Adam reveals (some of the best episodes) would not have close to the same impact if I just saw their relationship on a family tree.. similar to seeing Bartoz's relationship to Noah and Silja on a family tree instead of experiencing it through the episode. Not really an exciting reveal if you saw it coming. However, I can definitely recognize a lot of people don't consider it spoilers and like Joel thinks it made the experience better. even though I disagree 😂

Well the Mikkel and Adam situation was before the family tree so… I saw the family tree briefly and it was exciting “trying” to put all the pieces together. What a spectacular show, deserves its spot in my top 5 tv series of all time. The montage was amazing. They made us care about everyone and understand them. They even made you feel sad for Hanna. btw Silja named her son (Hanno) after her mom that she never saw again. SIlja's dad is Bartozs great grandad, so Silja is his half-grandma and she is also half-sister to Jonas and Claudia. About the family tree. Bartozs who doesn't come from intertangled family (Regina and Alexander) has Noah and Agnes with SIlja (who is Egon's and Hanna's child, also not intertangled family line). Agnes has Tronte with Origin which creates the intertanglement, cause this line makes Tronte-Ulrich-Mikkel-Jonas, who creates the Origin. Adam's goal was to kill Origin to stop this line and therefore kill himself and everyone involved in this mess (Tronte, Ulrich, Martha, Magnus, Mikkel, Jonas, Origin ofc). He did the same mistake (2nd season) again, cause you can't untangle the mess. He tried to stop Mikkel from suicide, failed, cause his success means there is nobody to stop Mikkel from doing it. And then he goes on and tries to stop Martha from giving birth, to stop the mess in both worlds, but because Origin's death means Jonas's non-existence, he can't do it as well. Eve is smarter and knows the mess doesn't start with family ties, but with apocalypse, cause that's the only time she managed to split realities. She uses it to her own advantage, to ensure there are 2 world and 2 sets of Jonas and Martha realities. So while Adam is trying to understand the knot by repeating it, in the end to bite his own tail, Eve is making sure Adam does the knot correctly, so she can use the apocalypse to her own advantage. One wants to erase everything, the other wants to preserve it. She is a mom and has her child, while also making sure all the other actors in her team of alternative characters make their children to preserve the lines. Eve achieves her wish every time, while Adam fails every loop. Also note the parents/children sacrificing/saving in the show. Noah killed his dad Bartozs and tries to save his child by killing other children. Claudia killed Regina to save her. Claudia killed her dad. Jonas tries to kill his son Origin and killed his mom. Jonas causing Mikkel's disappearance and death. Katharina's mom killing her. Elizabeth saving Charlotte, while also sacrificing herself and Noah. Peter saving Elizabeth. Noah killing Mads, who is his sister's Grandson. Tannhaus losing his child and trying to save him, while also saving Charlotte from being an orphan. P.s. no spoilers, as they finished the show.

Need to explain the gun scene because everyone thinks it is something supernatural. Jonas has 0 weapons training and it is a WW1 gun. Noah simply jams and hands it over, then un jams and fires on the wall. It is Noah's gun. Its a ploy Adam would have told him to do to convince Jonas. Same thing with Agnes and Noah. She has the firing pin for his gun.

I gradually lost interest in the show starting in season 3. I can't fully explain why, but I wasn't as invested anymore. I only watch the reactions now, the last episode I watched was S3 EP6. I think it's still a good show, but it's first and second seasons were far better overall. I think things progressed too quickly in some areas and not quick enough in others.
