2024-11-29 22:07:13 +0000 UTCI wish they couldve remade/rebooted the show with its more fleshed out vision and exploring more of the subplots (4-5 seasons) instead of Sunrise pursuing other projects after Code Geass popularity exploded in the 2010s. Only like two shows that i know of decided to make clear their inspirations and concepts of this show.

2024-11-28 23:04:55 +0000 UTCAs you guys will reach the ending of Code Geass very soon, i like to give you some information: Code Geass is an original anime by Sunrise from 2006. It was initially planned to be 50 episodes per season, but due to Sunrise/Bandai Namco thinking it will be a flop, they dropped the episode count to 25. Ichiro Okouchi the scriptwriter of Geass and Goro Taniguchi the director (both are the creators) said one episode of Geass has 3times the content of an normal anime show. R2 which was supposed to be twice as long, but due to a f*cked up production and crazy behind the scenes they had to rewrite the script several times. From another 50 episodes dropped to 25 again. Which is why the pacing is crazy fast in the middle of R2. And because of bad TV ratings, because they changed the time slot and lost alot of fans because they couldnt watch it when it was airing, but the BluRays and merchandise was crazy. This show was back in the days in japan what Demon Slayer is now in terms of popularity, obvisouly in a smaller scale worldwide. There is even the original/alternative script for epsiode 26 online and theres also several plot lines, which got dropped. Suzaku being related to Geass and his superhuman strength was supposed to get explored. All in all its one of the greates shows of all time with probably the greatest ending in general for me. Even with all the crazy BTS stuff going on, they managed to create a classic. Have fun with the finale Geks :)

He literally had all of them fooled thats why Charles said before he died “If you dont accept me and what I offer, you’ll inherit Schneizel’s world!” Also like I said before if you paid close enough attention you’ll notice Schneizel's character way into his first appearance in the Kamine Island incident. He ordered bombings to kill both Lelouch and Suzaku simultaneously, however when Cecil questioned him about it, he lied and flattered his way out of taking any responsibility for that. He’s a crazy sociopath but I still love him 🤷🏽♂️
