2024-11-24 05:45:43 +0000 UTCMaybe I am biased as a Dune fan that has read all of the books but I have a pretty idea where they are going with things and I think it will probably be a slow roll for the first episodes but it should get pretty wild once it gets some things done with the build up. Dune is not and never has been a fast paced or action heavy thing, theres a lot of slower paced more contemplative elements, and some political cunning and such, and then big events/clashes where it all meets up. Not unlike the Villueve films really.

Jonas of 2020 is with Martha of 2019 and they went to 2053 of reverse world. Notice how reverse world Martha-Eva wants to save her world/keep the knot and Adam wants to destroy the knot. All we know Adam wants to save his Martha, but kills her every time, because he wants to find the origin of the knot to destroy it. Think about it, why bearded Jonas doesn't know anything about reverse world

Something happened prior to season 1 that created the substance involving the VCS and we have been slowly revealing more and more about that as the show goes on. One of the longest plot threads that is drip fed. That is what the Trio has been up to, they got the master keys to power plants in both worlds + plans for the VCS system.

Episode 3 has him repeating what was in the letter written to Clausen! That is a monster reveal. Also has him repeating Bernds line about drop and ocean.
