well he was right to do what he did but it was a super bad timing, he could have waited, told people get out or anything. Even tho he did the right thing, it led to the death of a child, he's at least guilty of that. Bro shattered a family (again). + He's just fixing HIS mistake. He got a child killed because he was a weak man and failed before. The chain of events starts with him.

2024-11-29 05:37:04 +0000 UTCI don't understand the confusion I've been seeing from people concerning how quick Jinx and Vi talked to each. The most logical answer is they are SISTERS. They may be beefing but they still love each other at the end of the day. Like I have 2 sisters and I can't stand them sometimes but they can't do anything that bad to where I want them dead. Also we can go deeper and say that Jinx was finally maturing taking care of Isha. She finally understood VI's position in the past. And Vi never wanted Jinx dead. She put up a front to keep Caitlynn at bay. But she would of never went through with it.

2024-11-23 08:00:11 +0000 UTCI agree with Carter. As much as I think the show is amazing, there are slight pacing issues so far. Just things that I cant believe. With Vi and Jinx just being able to casually talk with each other. I loved episodes 1-3 of this season, and episode 4. 5 and 6 with the vander, jinx, vi stuff has me slightly less convinced. And Caitlyn. I am hoping episodes 7, 8, and 9 wrap it well enough to have me understand why they rushed through some of the plot points. Since the show was supposed to be 5 seasons, I can feel the part where it feels like seasons of character development happened off screen. Not that I dont believe it can happen, but we werent shown it. Only what we saw in the first 3 episodes. And I bet the ending is incredible. But I think they needed payoffs in this act to happen for the 3rd act and had to rush through some of the content. Which is unfortunate because Arcane season 1 was also one of my top things I have seen. Hoping tomorrow is incredible. Love the reactions.

For example, Episode 1 has Piltover take over Zaun - if they showed us a whole episode of this, it would have been more messaging of "police brutality" "we live in a society" "wealth gap" etc which we already get massive amounts of. If there isn't more to explore in the theme it will start to feel heavy-handed being shown the same message. I assume when they time skip and montage that they simply don't have something meaningful enough to say at that point, which, fair play, just make it look really cool rather than waffle around. The reality is that at two seasons this is already the most expensive animation ever made, and per dollar I have never seen this amount of effort turn into artistry. If the script couldn't be longer, it wasn't because of a lack of love or care. It's going to be ages before we ever see another company invest this much into their lore, and accidentally create peak. I think once this season is over, there will be less debate about whether Arcane is perfect and just appreciation that it's freaking beautiful. Right now it's hard to know that it ends so soon.

2024-11-22 04:00:24 +0000 UTCI hope people noticed in the room with the big hexcore, in every scene with Jayce, Heimerdinger, Ekko, and later with Jayce and Salo... if you look at everyone's breaths, EXCEPT Salo's, their breathing is clearly visible as hot air coming out of their mouth. Salo never breathes visibly as if he either, isn't alive, or isn't warm at all. This somewhat aligns with the scene when Viktor comes out of his "cocoon" and Jayce hugs him and says "you must be cold", and Viktor says "No, I don't think so. I sense a charge. A potential. A recursive impulse. Unpleasant, but no, cold isn't its name." And then in 2x6, right before Jayce shoots a hole through Viktor's chest he says "I won't fail. I swear it!" - it's a call back to season 1, when Viktor asked Jayce to destroy the hexcore after he spread Sky's ashes... In season 1 Viktor asked Jayce to destroy the Hexcore, Jayce didn't want to, Viktor starts coughing and asks Jayce - "Promise me."... Jayce says - "Okay. Okay. I promise." Then Viktor said - "We lost ourselves, lost our dream. In the pursuit of great, we failed to do good. We have to make it right. So, in season 2, Jayce is actually fulfilling THAT promise to his friend. Maybe we actually lost the real Viktor when Jinx fired that rocket, and what we've been seeing all throughout season 2 was some shadow that the hexcore brought back up from the void as the closest thing to Jayce's real best friend... How sad would that be? It would be as if we've relived his death a second time while not even being aware he actually died the first time Jinx fired the rocket. It would repeat AGAIN the same pain with Vander when he died in season 1... and now as it seems that he is going to "die" again... and the same thing is also happening with Isha because she literally IS Powder in everyone's eyes - even Jinxes sees the innocence she's lost in her... so we're losing Powder again too. Why is this show doing this to us... it's too cruel 💀💀

Remember, Piltover and Zaun were once united. So when Ambesa is explaining Noxus' core principles which she obviously embodies herself... 1. Vision, 2. Might, 3. Guile, 4. Sacrifice, ...if we try and look for other characters in the show that also embody these traits: 1. Vision - Caitlyn 2. Might - Violet 3. Guile - Jinx 4. Sacrifice - Isha... ...we are left with one conclusion - united we stand stronger. This is ultimately what we as the audience also want for Piltover and Zaun - to be united - and through these 4, ironically Noxian principles, we see that only united, both characters of Piltover AND Zaun have what it takes to stand up to Ambesa and her desire for conquest and domination. So is the show saying collectivism > individualism?

It is sad when shows end, but I would take it rather than Riot milking it, as some studios would. One of the reasons they could do such amazing animation and music is because they used money Riot gave them, magnificently. If they had to split it even more, I feel it would not be the same. I fricking love the reaction and comments from ppl who love this show as much as I do. Every comment and feeling is valid. Can't wait for finale.

There are so many amazing parallels between season 1 and 2 to show how love is ever present in the show and with these characters from the beginning to end: In season 1 - the last person Vander gave a hug to, and the first person he gave a hug to in season 2 - is Violet. The last word to come out of Vander's mouth in season 1... and his first in season 2 - is Powder. Vander's children are in his arms and in his words from beginning to end. It's his whole character in and out. The show SHOWS this all over the place in a "show, don't tell" way of telling a story. So much attention to detail wherever you look. So much added meaning either put in between the lines, in context, or in hidden meaning, or in many different juxtapositions of character relationships, parallels, similarities, mirrors... so many things in this show I keep discovering as time goes by. Silco had one very strong quote - "Is there anything more undoing than a daughter?" This quote applies to EVERY major character in the show because all of them are motivated by trying to save their daughters: 1. Ambesa and Mel 2. Singed and his daughter 3. Vander and his daughters Violet and Jinx 4. Violet and Jinx' parents trying to make a better world for their children 5. Lastly Jinx finally understanding Violet and also Silco after she started caring for Isha and in a way being a parent figure to her which completely changed Jinx and her priorities... It's hard to not sympathize with almost all the characters when you understand their point of view, which is a rare thing to see in stories, since you don't see antagonists in stories being this well fleshed out and interconnected with the protagonists. It is almost as if you want to root for everyone at some point. Damn this show is amazing.

Warwick following the blood trail is like the most 1to1 of any ability portray in both season 1 and 2 besides maybe jayces ranged q in S1

This story NEEDED 3 seasons because the writing has slightly suffered with there just not being enough time to properly execute everything that season 1 did perfectly. This is still one of my favorite shows of all time and I can’t wait to see how they wrap it up this weekend

In season 2 they are more used to fill in story telling and further the plot rather than highlight a plot point that had been built up. They have too much to show in too little time and everything cant be properly fleshed out with the amount of episodes they have. They are still doing a phenomenal job

It’s lazy to me I’ve always found it cheesy, however they did it perfectly in the first season. This season I feel like they took everything that made season 1 perfect (literal perfection) and enhanced it this time around thinking it was the cool thing to do. People love it so they were right but it’s just not my cup of tea. But I wish they would have given this particular part or arc another season to allow a fulfilling ending to these awesome characters. I do understand the story isn’t over yet, I just hate that I’m disappointed. This show has been my number one for so long therefore my expectation are a bit higher.
