Well, with the years I have calmed down a bit and understood that I as a 25 y/o person was not the target audience of the movies, but damn they could've adapted them way better. Those Dursley's scenes you say were beautiful because of the meaning they had and were left awfully out. Im having hope with the new series, mainly because of that target audience are full grown adults now 😅

I think Ravneclaws are put into this box that they are only smart, Ravenclaws aren't only smart. They are also considered creative, eccentric which Hermionie didn't show much characteristics of. They also tend to think more out of the box. Hermione is more about facts and believing in what she sees before her eyes. She also has courage and is very stubborn and rigid in her ideals.

Hufflepuff is a badger which I find pretty cool, also if any of the houses were pot smokers it'd be them for sure. The thing about the Houses is though (and a lot of stuff in these books/ movies), is that they don't matter nor make sense. Like Slytherin's are mostly evil/ bad people, but aside from it and Gryffindor, the other 2 Houses don't really have distinguished traits. Like Ravenclaws are supposed to be smarties, but then why is Hermione a Gryffindor? it's little thing like that that make me not love J.K Rowling as a writer.

This one was definitely one of my favorites. Four and six are also in my top three. Great reactions! I don't know if you guys read the books, but they go more into detail about Voldermorts parents in the sixth book I believe, or the last one. It was a shame they didn't incorporate it more in the movie. Hopefully the TV series will cover it better. I personally, have always felt like a Gryffindor, but some of my friends say that I have characteristics of Ravenclaw. There have been some great wizards from Hufflepuff. Excited for the third part.

Mudbloods are wizards whose parents are both muggles. Mixed blood wizards don't really have a name, and pure bloods are self explanatory. Almost all muggles don't know anything about the wizarding world, but if they have kids that are magical, the kids still get the letters for hogwarts, and the parents are allowed to learn about their world, ergo Hermione, and her parents being in Diagon Alley. Without spoiling anything, there are other wizarding schools around the world. Hogwarts is basically just for The UK, kids from England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales etc. Glad you're enjoying the movies so far, Brig. These movies are iconic, and the books are even better.

I don't know if anyone noticed this or not but I don't think Hermione would actually defile a book and rip a page out, I think a little someone in the beginning of the movie was seen ripping a page out of a book and planted it somewhere for her to find...but that could just be a theory. Things are never not intentional in these movies.

When the sword appeared in the lake I believe it was intentionally placed there by Snape for Harry to find. I can’t remember if this is addressed in the movie, but definitely in the book. So the sword does typically appear in the hat, just like it did for Neville in the last movie

I always die laughing when Daniel delivers the "it's not Hogwarts with out you Hagrid" line. I know I'm not the only one who finds it funny for some reason. This is one of the more quotable movies. To answer Brig's question with out answering his question, Harry Potter is famous because of Voldemort so he'll always be brought up because of Harry being alive. He's not the main focus though or it would be called Voldemort and the Chamber of Secrets. The books and movies are about Harry and his school life. This is the story of Harry Potter. Also don't talk bad about us Hufflepuffs unless you wanna fight a honey badger!! We're very smart, good at taking care of plants and animals, and loyal to a fault. However, don't cross us.

There's a quote by jk rowling about hufflepuff that I really like which I can't fully write here because it's a spoiler, but she basically says that her daughter told her that everyone should want to be Hufflepuffs because of their selfless, kind traits, and she agreed and was upset that people didn't like Hufflepuff as much as the other houses.
