He welds shut door preventing cesium access to anyone but Claudia. S2E1 - We learn Apocalypse and Plant shutdown are on June 27th. We see Aleksandrs Grave in 2053 along with Torben Woller. S2E4 - Clausen says he personally volunteered for the case. S2E6 - We see Aleksandr has had Woller on his payroll since pre s1, nervous about Marburg case. S2E7 - Clausen is Kohler's brother and arrests Aleksandr. 1 day prior to Apoc and plant shutdown, and we saw Torben and Aleks' graves. Regardless of what comes next, Aleksander and Clausen are already not a sideplot. Aleksandr's criminal activities have been seen since s1e1 + huge plot impact, and the Kohler plot has been going since s1 also.

If that was my daughter, I'd have the same exact reaction she had. Would also tell him to keep his hands off. Wouldn't call them filthy, but still. Plus the fact that Hannah basically got with both her son and her husband understandably makes Katharina sick, so some of her agression makes sense in that way. Plus given how shes naturally proned to being mean, it's essentially like throwing fuel to a fire.

And while it is true that by 1987 the tunnel is closed, that still left him plenty of time to try. But then there's also the influence of Ines, who plays a significant role in keeping him grounded in the past through medications and sedatives. The drugs might not directly stop him from trying to use the tunnel, but they certainly affect his memory and his ability to think critically about his situation. 2019 Michael had this line last episode in which he reveals something significant about his experience of being sent back in time as a child: "I don't remember anything. I don't remember how I got here. I only remember waking up one day in the past, and being someone else. It was like... a completely different life." So, poor Mikkel is both physically and psychologically trapped in the past. He never stood a chance.

Plus there are reasons they are not sharing stuff with each other sometimes. I don't really like Bartozs as a character, he is kinda boring for me. Also even though Katarina was a good mom at times, she is so annoying. I would say that she and Hanna deserve each other as friends. One is a snake, the other is a bully. Beating up Regina, bullying her own son and others. Hanna was frustrating me so much, she is not a good mom as well. Jonas always needed her support, instead she was sleeping with his grandpa upstairs. She thinks only about herself. BTW I have seen this show like 3-4 times, I think this time around I am finally understanding it fully haha. Also Egon is a sweetheart. Overall actors are amazing, props to Germany

You’re dealing with time travel, a game that it took Claudia decades to understand. It’s hard to say what we would do in that situation, like we can say it from the comfort of our beds but actually being in a stressful situation doesn’t make our brains work to their maximum capacity. Humans are too emotional and scared for that

In 2x6 he is in 2019, and now it's 2020; he's spent a whole year with Claudia. I think it's really cool how young Jonas not only starts to look more and more like older Jonas in this episode, but his acting and his mannerisms too start to mirror his older self. Just great casting and great work by the actors.

The tunnel are closed in 1987, Mikkel can't go back, Ulrich wouldn't have been able to take him back. He tried this season when he heard the rumbling of Jonas and Hannah's arrival and Noah was there. Noah convinces him to go home, and it's clear what he says to Mikkel had an effect, considering he repeats his dialogue to Jonas 32 years later.

Aleksander has nothing to do with the drugs, his only connection with Erik's dad is he worked at the plant, and was on the payroll for moving the nuclear waste barrels. His plot with the investigator is VERY connected. 2x8 going to be wild.
