Assuming Dark works with a non-changeable past, there is no first Claudia who wasn't visited by her future self. It's a self-contained loop. It's not a paradox because it's perfectly internally consistent. Asking who that first Claudia was is like asking where does a circle begin. It's a question that just doesn't apply.

The answer is 100% the egg. Think of it this way - before there were chickens there was some bird that was very similar to a chicken. That bird laid an egg, until eventually a chicken came out of the egg. In reality, it would happen gradually over many many generations and we probably couldn't tell exactly when the change from non chicken to modern chicken took place, but whenever you decide it was, that chicken came out of an egg
