Honestly I’m watching One Piece for the first time with u guys, and haven’t read all the comments… but I don’t think it’s ALL hindsight merchants… they said Zeff spent A YEAR in the Grand Line, and Sanji learned from him… and we’ve seen what guys from the Grand Line are like, so I wasn’t surprised that Sanji was a goat.

It has already been addressed and its like beating a dead horse. There are shortcomings with One Pace as there are shortcomings with the original anime. There are always trade offs. Comparing to games, think about how the characters' HP were their philosophies, their determination to defend them, you bet your philosophy on your fists like Luffy, your feet, like Sanji, sword techniques like Zoro, Usopp's inventiveness, against the of the opponent, the stronger determination, with more base, with more "will" so to speak, ends up winning and in this the physics of One Piece goes to space xD in a good way hahah, it will make more and more sense as you watch the show

Hate this for y'all 😭 It's even worse when some do it intentionally, but others do it out excitement and don't realize how it ruins another's perception of the show. I'm practically caught up on the show and I'm seeing so many spoilers (or at least soft spoilers) of things that happen much later on in the show. I want you guys to be able to enjoy the show the way it's meant to be enjoyed so you can fully experience the journey that is OP. I hesitate to say "just have Jack read the comments" because there are even spoilers for him if he's not careful. It's just not fair to you guys or to the fans of the show who are giving you guys the space to express your thoughts and opinions at the point you are at in the show. I personally enjoy the criticisms you guys have cause I know what's coming so I can giggle to myself and move on. Fans of the show! That way you can enjoy the comments to some degree at least and it gets filtered for the majority of the geks, so you can avoid the subtle spoilers and such that come from comments and still get to interact with the community

I jokingly asked about RHOSLC once on discord and cannon said he knows some people on the cast so I think it’s uncomfortable since their community is quite small. Also I love reality tv but I think tslomw and rhoslc, there are cast members who sensationalise and kind of disrespect their traditions (idk how practicing the geks are) but I think it wouldn’t be something they’d put up. at least I’m thinking of it from a religious person’s perspective 🤔

You can see the villagers, Nami, and Zoro's bros all standing there with their mouths open the entire episode at everything those two did. That should tell you that they are doing things and taking hits that a regular person could not do. We've seen Mihawk cut ships in half with a swing of his sword so we know that you can train your body past the realm of reality. That's really all you need to know.

I think one thing thats great about One piece as an adventure anime is that there’s no sensei at the start of the show explaining the rules of the verse. Instead, we as the viewers and the straw hats set out to figure out the laws of the world and power system for ourselves, and put it together piece by piece as new clues are given to us. Hope you guys aren't discouraged and continue to give us your theories and opinions just as you did with this video - like it being like a Tom & Jerry universe and how the fights will play out. Thinking out loud and creating crazy theories are one of the most fun things about one piece 😁. It’s nice to look back and see if any of them come true. Any OP fan would know that there are so many silly yet thought-provoking theories out there, that you can't help but wonder if it will come to fruition.

It's not necessary to explain things that will happen in the future, and it's also unfair to "debate" one of your takes when the commenter has full context in comparison with you guys. I'm watching OP along with you guys for the first time, last video people were over explaining things. I don't really mind spoilers but I can respect people that do and I wish we all did, specially when you have said it enough times already 🙄

But maybe whoever in the group has seen the show can either moderate the comments for spoilers or be the only one to read them for that show and then curate the comments you guys might enjoy. I've never seen such a big spoiler problem on a creator's patreon before. Would love if everyone just understood not to do that.
