Meet the B-Side Team

Hey everyone,

My name is MenageANoir and I've been your B-Side Art Director since April of 2023. We did our first intro post way back in June of 2023, so it feels appropriate to do a new one now. Let's start with a little history:

If you've ever searched for tips on the business of NSFW art, you've probably run across Beats' blog hbeatsart.com. It's full of great advice on social media, commissions, and art tips. Plus, there's a very nice discord server to join if you're looking for an art community: NSFW Artists Guild.

That server is where Pervball and I met Beats, and we recommend it if you're looking for a place with easygoing, chill vibes and supportive people. We've had to say goodbye to Beats here at B-Side Poser, but if you want to keep up with him and his work, go check out his website and the guild.

Beats came up with the idea for B-Side Poser because he wanted to provide educational materials and inspiring resources that catered to NSFW artists. He brought me and Pervball onto the team to help carry out this mission, one that we intend to honor and uphold for the future of B-Side Poser.

The image on the left was the first drawing I did of my OC, Accalia, back in November of 2021. Like many others, the pandemic lockdowns provided a time to reevaluate my goals and dreams. I realized that increasing work and university responsibilities meant that I hadn't really drawn anything for 5 years. I missed creating and set out to build my universe, "Ménage à Noir", and the OCs that lived there.

Three years of indulging my artistic passions later, I drew the right side image in Jan'25. In the first intro post, I said I wanted to improve my anatomy and rendering skills and I'm proud of my progress since then. I hope to continue on my own artistic journey while supporting other artists along the way!

Hello, I'm Pervball, a NSFW furry artist.

I've been doodling for as long as I can remember and dreamed of becoming a professional artist. After being told time and again that I had no feel for art and no talent, I gave up my dream, but never truly stopped drawing. In 2021, I started to draw what I liked, mainly sexy fur-covered gals xD, and I started to improve. But I never showed my drawings to anyone, until I stumbled onto Beats’ blog. Suddenly, my art wasn't only legit, but a possible career path. I was no longer ashamed of my art aspirations.

My goals are opening commissions, sharing the sexy stories of my OCs, and showing off my work to others. I still have a long way ahead of me, but now I walk it with friends and fellow artists. As the B-Side Poser Social Media Manager, I try to keep up with the community. It’s wonderful to see so many artists on their individual journey and it feels great we can do our part to support them and help grow the community.
