We want more horns, Erin, and the inn world. I don’t really care about anyone else and I usually skim it. I hope 2026 has less fillers. Reminds me of anime fillers.

I'm completely with you, I feel like PABA has decided this volume onwards is the wandering inn 2, with completely different protagonists and the main story and characters being put aside to meander with random characters, few of which haven't even existed before this volume lol. I'd understand if this was early in the story and wouldn't mind, but it just doesn't suit the story after 15 million words.

I just wish we could get back to characters we actually care about. Volume ten has basically just been a whole Volume of side stories and filler. Im probably in the minority here and maybe this will come off wrong but I haven't been at all invested in this Volume outside of Erin's very few and far between chapters and the glimpses we got of the horns and rabbiteater. Like if you just deleted everything else that happened the story would be better for it.

I think there is a continuity error with the Numbers Man. When he was introduced, it appeared he was from a time when the Blighted Kingdom was on Rhir, but in your latest chapter, he is now from a time that pre-dates the Blighted Kingdom on Rhir.

I had the same problem at first, but found that scroll works when I move my finger to either edge of the screen. Still less than ideal though. :/

Erna

Now can't scroll on mobile, Android, with website update.

Great chapter, I thought the length felt perfect for the story you told. I like that we are getting more details about Roshal, the Blighted Kingdom and Thatalocian. My one concern that I've been having lately is the sort of cartoon villainy from Roshal (and the BK) lately where slavers beat and starve slaves for no reason than to show the audience that they're the baddies. It makes no sense. Would a man beat and starve their horse or pig right before they bring it to market? No, they'd fatten them up to get the best price. Why would a slaver act differently? They're evil, not stupid. Perhaps Roshal and the Blighted Kingdom have merely agreed to play the ole Good Cop/Bad Cop routine to make the slaves more loyal and "grateful" to their new owners when they finally get fed. However, I think a better explanation to the seemingly self-defeating practice is that Roshal is "fattening them up" except instead of food it's levels. Pushing them to extremes to give the survivors levels and classes in order to fetch a higher price. Anyway, all this to say I would like to see fewer 2-D villains like Captain Thin and more Thatalocian types from Roshal. Monsters who between acts of villainy seem otherwise banal because they genuinely believe that what they do isn't any more wrong than what other kingdoms do. That they are simply being honest about their chains and hierarchy.

I really enjoyed it. Something about the endless extent that a purely utilitarian agent might go gives me goosebumps. Can't wait, I hope you have a productive and not productive break!

I should save this for next week to make the time between chapters less…..I should but I’m not going to! I’m an Inn fiend!
