@RedGoblin. You have some good points. But the problem for me, isn't that someone in inn world is cheating, but that the palace itself can be considered cheating from a writing perspective. We will never have a good reason for not knowing something again, because those black doors, are gonna get old very quick.

It feels to me like 8 year old girl saying goodbye to her inn family and getting a closure on all of these grief piling on her small back. Seeing how grief turned poor Nanatte into evil witch in alternate universe.

Otherwise what's the point. Also, all of this has been going on for too long. I just wanna go back to Erin, her arc is sooo interesting rn. T.T

Then the system is not fair even though it says it’s fair because those classes are fair. In that same thought breaking the system because the rule of levels is not fair, makes some sense it was bound to happen, I mean should happen considering its lack of progressive nature. It needed to happen and in this arc it attacked many points that may have not been expounded upon. Like how in the world would Erin or her circle do enough damage to Roshal, hell even the bloodfeast raiders that are essentially invisible, or the [King] that speaks truth and only the TRUTH. How would those have been dealt with? Are they themselves not “Cheating”? To me the whole point of this arc was to show was that the Wandering Inn can “Cheat” too. All in this to show that the system GDI was never truly fair/Neutral, and allowed those in a better position to “Cheat”. Let’s look at the Titan vs Teri who would have had won? More than likely the Titan, why? Because Teri has no system of levels whereas the Titan has many… how many unique skills do you think Teri or the other dragons made themselves? And yet they have no System… in this scenario the Titan is considered “Cheating” no? It had to happen as a reality check since GDI never ever listened to anyone or even itself, but the question was how? (I mean look at how it’s treating GDI2. For once its never expressed true Emotion other than with what it doesn’t understand. Like when it was trying to give Erin a level 50 skill.) How could an entity so above and out of reach to any mortal ever convince it to open its eyes…

2025-02-15 21:47:30 +0000 UTCYeah I 100% agree. Multiverse arcs always feel like cheating and never go well, and it's the same here. The best part of this arc was Teri vs Titan, which didn't involve the palace at all lol.

I have found myself going “get on with it”, again, a new experience. It’s just too “Marvel” / “D&D” let’s just redo everything and it was an alternate reality/dream/other excuse to go on a weird tangent

Maybe the conclusion will prove me wrong, but i don't understand why we needed to have so many characters involved with this. I hope Erin ends up not getting the palace, even if it doesn't have the multiverse powers. It's just not fun from a readers perspective. On top of that it cheapens the pavilion, when it's that easy to gather information with it.

2025-02-11 02:49:17 +0000 UTCI really hate you paba. I really hate this arc. Where's the gif of Donald Glover as Troy screaming "My Emotions" when you need it. I am seriously hurt. Last chapter with Halrac, I thought was bad enough but now with Zel too. I am still not recovered from this emotional journey. And the growth of Mrsha and really all the characters has been making me tear up. Like Rhis suggesting to bring all his people through to fight pawn is crazy. Vis and Lyon were both amazing too. And I hope sheta does come through. Kevin was also just awesome. Both Kevin's and I love the hell communication. In all seriousness tho, this arc has been so nice. Being able to have a proper send off to all of our favorite characters brings me peace. Thank you so much for making a story with characters that make me cry tears in real life because they are real to me.

Hello Pirate! Thank you for the Chapter! I cried a little during the Nanette and Califor scenes. A witch would understand the implications of seeing a future version of their child and know they were worthy of love ❤️
