Chapter Delay to 20th.
Added 2024-07-13 06:30:15 +0000 UTCHey, it's me. I have to go to the plan B I mentioned and release the next chapter on the 20th. I had hoped to write and edit before the wedding (I am away from my computer at this very moment), but it was not to be.
I think the stress of travel and the fact I will be giving a wedding speech (that's gonna be weird), make it too hard for me to focus and write. I had one day to do the edits and while I had hoped to write while on the road...that was a pipe dream.
Airports are terrible purgatories which I'm sure everyone knows, but my nocturnal schedule also means I feel like ten kinds of jetlag. So all this to say that I'm taking my week off now. I'll still be traveling by Tuesday but I'll get the chapter done on Thursday and Friday or die.
Apologies about the delay, but this is a meaningful wedding to me and I am grateful not to be stressing too hard about work or reader expectations. And hey, maybe I'll get inspiration on the trip, or at least recharge the writing batteries.
See you on the 20th and if you read this and meet me at a wedding, uh...say hi? Just don't post about it everywhere, please. Also, don't tell Fetohep what I said. I'll just get like a -2/10.

I am kind of sad there wasn’t a wedding that I could attend. It would seem like a literal awestruck dream to meet jou irl. Holy moly guacamole how I would pick your brain on how you write etcetera. Anyways, hope you had a nice break, and am really glad that you’re doing well!

I was BEYOND THRILLED I was able to pre-order "The Empress of Beasts" soon after I finished listening to "The Witch of Webs." You are entitled to a personal life ... and however many breaks you need.
