Just an opinion: i think this chapter and 10.14 are a bit too chaotic and the pace is very fast… but still love the story

So I think if they had the thought while receiving the rights, I 100% believe they were like, huh I have an idea. It just seems so Bird to me. But that's just my opinion. You want to see an completely unbelievable bird difference read the first few chapters he appeared. That's a big gap, lol Also, thanks for mentioning the effects on Lyonette. Didn't even think about that! Great foresight there

Is the princess of the inn showing qualities of the “queen of the castle” or it’s mascot? Bird coming back as female confused me. I get the idea of hey if you get to comeback why not change it up. That logic is fine, it’s just new and different and I can’t really picture Bird with breasts so I’m glad the inn chaos stopped too to go “huh?!” It also feels a bit werid for bird because he never cared for these things, he never brought it up, so why do it suddenly. That is what dosent make sense, the logic applied to the context of this character comes out of nowhere. I think because it makes no difference to who bird is I might still go with he/him in my mind for clarity and easy of visual n understanding, since that’s how he was, and there was no ease of transition into this new thing. he might switch again and again so having to do the switches everytime oof. Marsha showing her heart and checking up on everyone was lovely (and the meme with Lyonette) Speaking of lyonette I didn’t get the joke rose was calling out on her? Anyone get the earth reference?

I really thought Lyonette was going to drop coin on high quality chairs for the inn. Why not get the most comfortable amenities for your guests if gold is no factor?

And honestly? The back and forth with the Brothers had me tear up a bit. Superb. The real MVP of the chapter is of course that absolute banger of an artwork with Imani. "No one ever asks how do I fit?" 🤣. Bravo.
