You only live once. I've gotten PLENTY of bang for my buck every single month. I couldn't be happier. Take what time you need when you need it, to travel, to write something else, to rest, IT'S LITERALLY YOUR TIME.

I have no qualms with pirate taking breaks from writing for health reason, or just to take a break. But it's hard to justify funding pirate when the breaks from twi are for yonder content.

Take care of yourself. There must be a lot of pressure and probably a fair few nasty comments, but the most important thing is you. I love what you write and it always makes my day to see a new chapter, but nothing will ever be worth your health. Take the time you need when you need it, I'm happy to wait and I'd hope everyone else is too.

You’ve produced one of the longest-running works of fantasy— full stop— and the quality, as far as I’m concerned, has never been better. As long as you keep us informed (which you are great at doing!), you take the breaks you need. I much rather want the story to continue and finish at the speed you are comfortable with, than risk you burning out.

LOL, you do you and take the time you need ... just know I need to know what happens at the solstice! I 1/2 hope it is and isn't another skinner arch. That was amazing both with how many main characters died and it was what really hooked me to the Innverse ... since then obviously you've only gotten better (which is amazing). I dread the list of the dead, but you're also the only author who does that. Some authors will kill a whole slew of people on the last book in the series, other authors will kill lots of "named" characters, but people that you barely remember, but you, YOU! You consistently keep the tension maxed out because you're willing/brave enough to end characters you've spent hundreds of thousands of words developing. And. I. Love. It!

Honestly, you could take half a year off and it'll be fine, for me at least. I'm a audiobook fan so it'll take a while for me to catch up, plus I'm also waiting for the gravesong audiobook to pop up, not to mention they'll be busy recording the second and third books eventually for that too. You're ahead by alot in that regard. Better to wait a little longer than you to go the way of Kentaro Miura.
