Side Story Spoilers - March 2023!

Yeah, I may be sick because these are some weird options. Let me tell you just enough to make your choosing hard.

Kingdom of Gnolls TTRPG (Background and setting) - So the idea is a tabletop setting you can play a board game in. This would just be me writing a hook to a tabletop adventure. I have some books I’d try to copy from. I doubt I’d do statblocks, but I’d write out as much as I can in a single update. With the ‘experimental’ stuff, I’m just devoting an update to trying something new. Quality is not guaranteed, but it’s an interesting option even if it doesn’t win and it gauges interest.

pirateaba competes with an AI to write. (TWI-related. Whatever it spits out. Experimental.) - I think the ‘AI’ of the current times is inferior to most decent writers. I wrote my essay on the future of AI, though, and how good are they? I’d find Chat GPT or the best software and break down how it writes and ‘compete’ with it, especially if I can get it to spit some prompts or even try to write in my style.

Superhero Story? (Not TWI) - It’s a project I could write. I doubt I’d be able to finish a novel’s worth, but I have my own story of superheroes that does not fit with The Wandering Inn, and I just don’t have time to work on it. Since I don’t write in secret—here’s an option to give me time on it.

A War Story (TWI Chapter) - Is a war. All three TWI-only options are going to be secret, but I know the contents of each one. This one has the most sadness. The most action, obviously, but it’s also the most fleshed-out. If you want the highs and lows you can predict—vote here.

An Invention Story (TWI Chapter) - This one’s probably the most uplifting? I dunno. Once you see what it’s about, you’ll say, ‘at last’! I’d say this one is the most straightforward, and it might even be short. But you vote for this if you want to feel the world changing.

Exploring a Nation (TWI Chapter) - This is about a nation that some readers have wanted to see in actual detail. It will explore current events, and set the tone for a great shift that is occurring and happening. It will have a number of characters who have never gotten their own, full chapter.

I’d call this the kind of chapter you vote for if you liked finding out about different nations, from food to culture to people.
