2023-01-17 08:49:24 +0000 UTCYeah Erin hasn't won a fight since she went past level thirty and Garen clocked her back in volume 5. The author hasn't explicitly stated it, but it seems like the passive level enhancements (if any) from being an innkeeper to her body can't even keep up with a mage's body (the Wistram strike team event she was basically helpless after her ambush). It would be really neat to see an Erin the Rocky movie training montage subplot, she really does have many resources and expertise to draw on if she wants to bounce back swole. Maybe she can get some of that warrior's special muscle that might let her protect herself from the current challenges a little more. If nothing else, there needs to be a scene where somebody is like just stop, local science ain't gonna let you win in a fight anymore Erin.

2023-01-13 03:04:17 +0000 UTCI kind of prefer Erin's skills being more global. She's not just some standard innkeeper anymore. Heck, half the time she seems to have grown beyond being an innkeeper. Make her inn a fortress. A safe haven. Give her an expansion down in Izril's buttock. Eventually multi continental. Turn the fishies into semi intelligent familiars like Larra. Or make them guardians of the inn. It would be hilarious to see the Lightning Thief ('s daughter) try and pull a heist only to be stopped by magical goldfish. That, or make her skills personal. She's about to intensively rehabilitate her broken body. Getting skills to highlight this would be cool and would help overcome the helpless innkeeper scenarios that occasionally crop up.

2023-01-02 19:10:54 +0000 UTCHere’s a hope towards thinking about how skills improve… [field of preservation] is such a neat skill, what if Erin realizes she could hone it down and deploy it onto only one enemy coming through the Inn. Preserve in place every single molecule in their body. Person becomes a living statue while everyone evacuates. Quite a powerful defense. Also she’s needs some more skills in regards to Innkeeping in general. Kinda wish her and Barnethai would have it out or Lyon vs. B. Combined inn skill with Erin and Lyon is about now if I had my writers say. Also Happy New Years - friends; I do not yet know.
