2022-12-14 03:01:46 +0000 UTCLove the growing buildup of Pawn’s religion and cannot wait for coming chaos of ryoka, Tyrion, magnolia, rafeema, lulv, and maybe teriarch all heading for inn at same time….

2022-12-14 00:05:23 +0000 UTCI feel like the side chapters used to work better. I think that was because the Erin main story was much more central and then these side stories were kind of woven around that larger core. But now it feels like these ones are the main information we get, separate individual tales with fragments of the Erin story. It makes everything feel disjointed and dislocated. Also if you go back and just read the Erin pieces for this book It lacks the same depth. Maybe that’s because even when Erin is in the chapter she isn’t really often the focus and we don’t seem to get a prospective a lot any more other than small snippets?

2022-12-13 20:50:30 +0000 UTCWell? I don't even try to keep all that in my mind. This story is huge and we see the relevant parts when they need to happen for the story to move along. I believe that it's all going to be resolved in the end. Uh. Or it will be removed in the edits. :) I do love this story though. All the parts. The ones who come after us might not get to see everything we see. The rewrite on Volume 1 is almost finished and I'm excited to start reading this whole world again.

2022-12-13 12:50:54 +0000 UTCFeels like a bit too many plots are getting mixed together. Tbh this chapter and the previous one have been somewhat hard to follow. We have erin big Christmas plan/quest, but also erin’s plan for the prison in ostelia, then we have trio coming for the dragon, then we have the putrid one’s apprentice, and then we have the wagon driver that needs to speak with erin (with literally the first mention ever of what is going on back on earth). Plus the lamb mystery connected to pawn’s bible. It’s a lot to follow all together… and it’s a bit of a struggle to get into any one plot line because it just switches to another one so fast.

2022-12-11 04:59:31 +0000 UTCInteresting read. Hope you take a month off. Honestly, it's not just good for you. It helps with reader fatigue as well. Not that I've ever had it, but I've heard it happens to other people. lol

2022-12-11 04:47:57 +0000 UTCSo… how hard would it be to teach trolls, ogres, and gargoyles to read? Because I think there’s something that should be on their reading list.
