2022-08-29 20:05:24 +0000 UTCYou are easily insulted and much more elitist than I then if you think sharing my opinion is not completely within the purpose of this comment section. Maybe that’s why you like this chapter so much, you feel a certain level of affinity with Rhisveri. You just sound ridiculous and unable to have a conversation. Feel free to be insulted all you want I couldn’t care less. And if you think I am the only one dropping the series for the presence of darker and darker themes I would advise you to have little stroll down reddit-dom.It’s a recurring complain. This ofc is a pity because i really used to love this story and only in the last 4 volumes it has become a burden to read, rather than a pleasure.

2022-07-13 11:56:13 +0000 UTCDidn’t Relc put goblin heads on spikes to torture the other goblins in the very first chapters too, the chieftain was about to rape Erin, junk hanging out, but that’s ok. There is torture by the goblins with captured women. Hell, even out favorite half troll Is likely a result of rape too. Funny how all these women were tortured and sexually assaulted throughout the book and you didn’t notice. Pisces talks about his boo-boo and the assholes that did it and that’s too much. Like I said, weird man. Making no sense

2022-07-12 16:00:16 +0000 UTCTorture, like being controlled by a dragon to drop off a gift, controlling your mind and wiping your very memories? Mind rape? Look man, you are obviously picking and choosing what bugs you and ignore things worse and call them more in line with “the books morals?” One person knows what is in line with the books morals. Pirateaba. You obviously have some weird elitism/entitilism/control issue going on thinking you know what the books morals are. You’re just a reader. The world has rapists, people willing to torture, and slaves. Overcoming these things, adversity IS THE POINT. Don’t want to read? Ok, bye, but don’t think you know what’s best for the book. It would seem overwhelmingly fake and unenjoyable without negatives to live with, over come and level from. What do you want? Just stories from the garden of sanctuary? How would the level? You’re ok with someone being EATEN, or shot through the eye, not to mention the attempt at genocide against the entire goblin race ( and murdered kids in the first 10 chapters ) but torture that the people survive and become stronger from is no good? Man, I dunno what mixed you up so, but leave the comments section if leaving. Personally I’m insulted you had the gall to think you had the right to say anything. That’s just bloody rude and entitled.

2022-07-12 15:49:51 +0000 UTCThe torturers in aliendamus are not dead. And there weren’t scenes of slavery or torture in the first volumes. It started after volume 5. Plus the point is that we keep following the stories of characters that are fundamentally monstrous. The entire arc about the immortals in aliendamus was full of lighthearted moments, and ryoka flirting with them, interacting with them as if they weren’t raging psychopaths. That glossed-over ambivalence is disturbing in my opinion and something that was absent in the first volumes. Relc suffers the consequences for his violent and discriminatory behavior, he is ostracized. The same for Klbkch and pretty much any other character who has lost or doesn’t have a moral compass. Now it feels like the story itself has lost its moral compass. But as you have said those are my own considerations and, if they don’t apply to you, we can agree to disagree.

2022-07-12 02:32:44 +0000 UTCNot sure how a victim talking in the story about slavers and how those are now dead somehow leads you to this. But as others are writing, the story has been very consistent in my mind. I am just surprised you have read such a vast amount of story, only to reach a tipping point now. That is up to you though, I just don’t agree the story has somehow changed.

2022-07-11 10:23:37 +0000 UTCGreat chapter! Really enjoyed the horns parts. I'm interested in Numbtounge's skill, at first I thought it would be too specific but maybe if he gets something from their vibe/skills it will work. Looking forward to seeing it.

2022-07-11 06:54:22 +0000 UTCAny suggestions for music to listen to that fits Pisces? What’s that opera with organ loans?

2022-07-11 04:27:25 +0000 UTCIn self defense and as a last resort attempt to avoid being raped. Not for pleasure, not to get out information, not to torture and enslave. Completely different things. It’s not the violence per se, it’s the immorality, cruelty, inhumanity and lack of accountability for pretty much any character in the story.

2022-07-10 18:54:33 +0000 UTCthis seems like a very mild treatment of such things and, as Parker notes, this story has never really seemed to shy away from distressing themes.

2022-07-10 17:54:17 +0000 UTCWhat are you actually talking about? I started rereading the first volume and it describes in detail the horror of tossing boiling oil on a goblin chieftain.
Parker Groseclose
2022-07-10 16:35:15 +0000 UTCStarted reading the chapter and within the first 10 pages was immediately presented with new mentions of slavery and very graphic depiction of torture. As I’ve already said, there is less and less wander in the Wandering Inn. Sad to drop it but it really isn’t the same story anymore…
