2022-04-27 19:33:12 +0000 UTCI was thinking about this chapter as I go through my day. TWI has become my life. I see the atrocity of targeting fraerlings and want to help. Hope someone will help them. And then I think of current events and I could not care less about Ukraine. Where is the difference? I want to protect the fraerlings but think we should mind our own business about Ukraine. I can't help but feel like Relc; a veteran who understands warfare but not war.

2022-04-02 03:17:09 +0000 UTCAmazing chapter. Just awestruck at what you accomplish as a writer. The sheer volume, yet at quality. And how much is conveyed despite a very simple style with little description. What a brilliant world. I can't wait to read more. Actually, I'll probably start reading from the start again soon. lol

2022-04-01 03:11:30 +0000 UTCThe name might also be because it was repeatedly rebuilt, but isn't Wandering Inn a pun on wandering in? As in, she just wandered in one day?

2022-03-31 23:45:21 +0000 UTCThat'd be a prescient name for Erin to give the inn, then, before it had been destroyed even once. I've seen some of the negative reactions to non-Erin chapters. I like them all - because if they do turn out to be, as the title implicitly promised, *mere setup* for an inn that can relocate overnight, I am confident that those chapters will *uplift that premise*: Imagine an inn that can appear anywhere in the world. What happens? Monster attacks, or invasions by sovereign nations, or . . . well, the story quickly ends. And it's a story of *world against innkeeper*. Now look at her status: inspiring and assisting some of the most powerful individuals around (generating goodwill), forging alliances that give her both economic and military influence - all approaching the stage where she *is* a major power in her own right, able to affect the fate of nations across the world. Her personal influence extended across the ocean to Rabbiteater - can you imagine what she'll be able to do when she can bring herself (and her inn, with all its guests and staff) to the site of interesting events? Millions of words in unrelated side-chapters would be small. When smaller stories are woven together, they all become a part of something larger. I look forward to seeing their unifying element. I hope it will be a Wandering Inn.

2022-03-31 06:44:27 +0000 UTCCompared to this grand story and world Pirate has made that idea is just small. The title is because the inn kept being rebuilt in different spots

2022-03-31 06:37:46 +0000 UTCI began reading (early pandemic) because I thought it would be about someone getting trapped in a cursed inn that wandered a few towns away overnight, like Baba Yaga's hut. Each day new clientele; *they* can leave, but the cursed innkeeper? Never. I remain disappointed that this is not the story I got, but the teleportation door made me hopeful that it would someday evolve into something more. This chapter is especially exciting to me because it features the Titan's invention: towers that can be moved. It suggests another way the story can live up to its title: a mobile fortress animated by Fraerling magic to shelter their refugees and provide a new home.
2022-03-31 04:58:00 +0000 UTCThe next audiobook is coming out next month. You can already pre-order it on Audible

2022-03-31 02:56:38 +0000 UTCMockery jones. Cool name. Did you write this story? Did you teach yourself to talk to people like that? Take your own advice.

2022-03-30 20:57:43 +0000 UTCEnjoying the story, like what you are doing. Been reading for about 6 months after listing to the your audio book, and am now caught up to with your latest post. Hopefully more of your Audio Books are on there way, my apprentice in the reading of the story has completed the 1st of 5 that you currently have out, but I don't know if she will go to a text version. Any word on upcoming releases of future Audio Books?
