I love the king and his vassal’s chapters the most

SaintMaceToTheFace

Loved the book, and I definitely want to read more about this parallel journey. I also enjoyed listening to the songs - some of them new to me - and watching the slo-mo walk video :) In chapter 1.06 P, I believe that this is supposed to be Ser Dalimont rather than Ser Dalius: He was bowing to Ser Dalius. The [Knight] bowed stiffly, and Seraphel waved a hand, although her face was pale.

Had the same thought, butt didn't want to derail conversation. Kasperov's games with deep blue were also set up in such a way as to give the computer an advantage and not devalue IBM's investment though I'm sure we could do better than deep blue now.

Froyo Baggins

Loved the book!

I want to note that Trey is wrong. Chess has not been solved. It is, in theory, a solvable game, but current computing power is VERY far from enough to solve it.

Liked the book. Liked the chapter. But as always, I always prefer anything to do with Erin first and foremost followed by anyone who has ties to Liscor with my favourites being the Antinium and the Horns (and Fehotep).

I'd say go ahead as Pirate said: "To use a Toren metaphor, imagine this is an undead skeleton. If there are new parts, think of it like Toren replacing his hand or polishing bones; the body remains. The only big removal will be song lyrics, which I have no copyright for...yet. The published version will have them in, but I have edited them all out in this version. You can still see the song name in such places, but the experience in changed and that is the one huge difference I can point to." Actual core story content should be the same. Only removal are song lyrics. Any further revisions would just be polishing the wording here and there and perhaps improving grammar/syntax as such.

Real talk guys, should I read gravesong, or should I wait for the final form? I definitely wont reread soon so it's about how much it will alter the experience.

Froyo Baggins

Loved Gravesong, I was glued to my tablet every night

Rusty Shackleford

Ooooo! Now I can't wait for the next chapter of wistram!

Chargcake

The book was incredible! Can't wait to find out how Cara meets the other earthers, and who she contacts to make the song crystals. And what her Class evolves into when she becomes basically world-famous.

Ignat Remizov

how can you even ask that, we ducks are full enough already! Absolutely bursting!

Ignat Remizov

That was a very fun chapter. Felt like a spy novel. Poor pigeon.

Matt

The book was great and so was the chapter. The book is definitely a much smoother entry point into the Wandering Inn than the current Volumes 1 and 2 are.

Atlas Dwarf

Gravesong was everything I hoped for and more -- then again, that's sorta the Wandering Inn experience in a nutshell, isn't it? Looking forward to the rest of Cara's story :)

Halfway through gravesong and i love what i see so far.

NaO

I binged Gravesong less than 30 minutes after you dropped it. Really good! When is book 2? ;)

Steven "Bull" Ratkovich

The book was mostly great, my biggest hesitation is that you said you were going to do another editing pass (which we all know really means you are going to write another 50k words 😂) Other than the fear of missing out, it was awesome!

Craig
