Interlude - The Pets of Innworld

I have also read the whole book several times and love it . But, sometimes

I’ve reread the story up to current 3 times, and just finished that third (I’m not counting my reading the story, I’ve just gone back and restarted 3 additional times because of all the things missed or things that were hinted at, flat out told would happen, etc, but the times from the hint is so far away from the event, it’s almost impossible to see it all without starting over a few times, not just once or twice. My point is, nope. Still going crazy every release night, refreshing to try and continue the story. I also have 3 other books and 2 serials I read as well the same way. I did similar with worm/ward from Wildbow, super powereds by Drew Hayes, etc. I find I can get like that if I don’t have enough other books to read at the same time. I try and keep at least 3 or 4 going at the same time. Jumping from story to story, especially similar ones, takes a lot more mental workout to keep details, characters, plot lines, histories, spells, superpowers, etc categorized and separate while reading, and maybe that makes the difference for me? Either way, I’m enjoying as much as, or more than day 1. I actually wish there were other books taking place in INNWORLD, though of course pirate wouldn’t have the time and would likely rather eat Goblin poo that start a second project at the same time. I wonder if Pirate would ever use ghost writers, or allow other writers to tell canon stories that must follow pirates history she’s built for side stories, etc? I’m sure there’s a fair bit of fan fiction, but that’s usually not quality reading, heh. Anyway, cheers

It's hard for me to wait for the new chapters. And I think with all the extra breaks that have been going on because of the vaccine and vacation it's making it hard for me to read also. I know it was so much easier when I was nowhere near caught up with pirates writing. Because when I was on edge or really want to know what was going to happen I could continue to read instead of having to wait. I am behind on reading right now.

In a review of the story I read years ago, the reviewer recommended approaching Innworld as a "story of moments", i.e. read for the moments both high and low that PirateAba does so well, because if you read it while expecting the familiar pattern of a neat conclusion of "happily ever after" that wraps up in a few hundred or even thousand pages its easy to get lost and overwhelmed in the depth and breadth of the Innworld story. There is development and progress and someday a conclusion but in one of Pirate's post chapter quotes they said "we have 10,000 miles of track ahead and this story has wheels" indicating we still have quite a journey ahead.

Is there such a thing as readers block? I think the story is great and pirataba writing has improved over the years. But I guess I'm burnt out on the story or I don't know what it is. In a book or series you have a end. They live happily ever after. I think after years of reading a story of constant change I'm might be looking for a conclusion or something stable. Does anyone else feel that way? I should probably just read the posts every few months. Just wondering.
