No Chapter Today

This is me. Listened first. Getting up to date with the online story after not realizing it existed for well almost a whole year. Well, now I’ve been caught up for the last few months. A weekly wait is nothing compared to what I inadvertently did to myself.

You realize this is her job right? Trying to maximize quality, make it more appropriate for sale is her main goal. Jobs take time. You could always go wait for the books to release on Amazon if you do not like the process of getting to read the novels free, rough and in need of editing. Wanting to improve quality and efficiency is admirable and deserves support. Not spoiled children who think this is “their” story. It’s hers. If she wants to take 3 months off to build a new arc, to shuffle things, to build info boards and cross reference all skills and spells introduced for future engagements? That’s her decision. There’s this prevalent belief among these new entitled people, that their thoughts matter in other people’s business and decisions. It is incorrect and embarrassing for you, whether you know it or not, saying stuff like this. Get over yourself. Be supportive, offer criticisms on plots you like or don’t, but don’t think you have any control kiddo. It’s funny, I’m actually in the process this year teaching my 7 year old this. “Just because your opinion, your thoughts and feelings on something, like how a toy someone owns should be used. I know it seem really really important to you, it does not mean you get to suggest others should change for you. It does not mean you should tell them to do it your way. The choice is not yours, it’s the choice of who owns it.” Is literally what I told my son yesterday. The difference between him and you is he was a bigger man, and more mature by apologizing for making such an entitled error.

I will be interested to see the edited chapter, I have never read an edited one as I don’t have the patience and as much as I love this can’t read 2 variations on the same chapter in quick succession. I’ve always been surprised by people’s comments on minor errors/discrepancies, as much as I’m ocd-ish I couldn’t write this story in a billion years so don’t feel critiquing by me is ok.

Oh, so getting the last few chapters early was alright, but a delay due to possible controversy and to hit the highest possible quality is unacceptable? Get over yourself, it's probably the one week of the year we won't get a full novel of content.

So the chapter being released on Saturday is not this one? I'm much confused. When will this chapter be released then? The world is chaos!!!!

Best move imo, I lack the impulse control and inclination to read a chapter twice. Better to post the edited chapter with the update delayed. If you go the full time editor route, this would be the way imo. Although I’m still not convinced an editor for new chapters is worthwhile, sic them on book one.

I would read and re-read it like I’ve done with all your published works on the wandering inn. But having seen parts of the 1.5 stream I understand your decision.

All that comes to mind is "This is gonna be epic!". Every single time there has been a chapter delay for quality/editing reasons, I have not been disappointed.

Well the good news is that based on the AN in the chapter, both will come out at the same time.

Everyone assuming a Pisces chapter, but that would mean that we're being left on the cliffhanger that is Belavierr versus Mrsha. Honestly more interested in that than Pisces at the moment.

No problem at all. Judging by the previously edited chapter the quality goes up a lot, but it takes a lot longer to get done. The challenge is to strike a balance between quantity and quality.
