It seems a bunch of people didn’t like it. Many never played it. I liked it too, though in a groan, cheesy kinda way. My only negative thought is that reference could make Innworld potentially being a video game after all, that question was asked and thrown own in the first few chapters really. Except technically never proven. I chuckled, but think in the long run, would be a bad choice. It pulls you out of the story.

Idk, it's hypocrisy for me. Terrandria have slaves bound to land, but they *named* differently, so it make it different? Aliendamus capturing innocent knights to sell them lately, same with Roshal. Izril is always at war Gnolls vs. Drakes vs. Humans, they literally feed Bloodfields each year without reason, just "tradition". Izrilian humans used assassin guild against each other in addition to fighting with Drakes. So for me Chadrar is just bold and direct about war and everything, without trying to mask it in "good words" like democracy. I see how this can hurt someone's eye tho, because when there is no curtains before them, you can look away. On that note, it would be interesting to see more chapters about live of Chandrarians, like was market chapter. For example, nude drake's story about his apprenticeship in Chandrar. Or how noname village lives. Just a little bit more story about Chandrar, to show us it's not everything about war.

So the power of historical projection bringing out an person out of history to help you the more you know of the person/object the more power the projection has to the original. Another author used something similar to there protagonist.

Mostly the default slave trade. Probably because we seem to be just seeing the worst of pretty much every country as plot focus -- so there could be better bits ... maybe because it feels like 90% (aside from Khelt & Pomle) are megalomaniacs happily isolated by the seas? :) Agreed overall they are probably as bad/good as the others -- but Chandrar just seems more obvious about it. (In the current plot arc). The whole thing with the Navarre's Fallen & mind-bending Slave master probably bouncing off a personal moral twitch point or something. ;)

Why so? Looks like same as Earth for me. Chandrar us Persia and around - sand, harsh environment, and warrior culture, strong unity, and a lot of internal struggle because there is not enough resources. Terrandria is Europe - colonize everything, think of themselves too much, and everything else as uncultured peasants. Izril is USA - ignore "masters"=Terrandria, xenophobic behaviour, exterminate natives with prejudice Baleros - jungles. Sounds as good job for me
