I just smiled at them and said some days are great!

2021-03-17 04:00:49 +0000 UTCHmm. A Fierre chapter was my least desired option in the last survey. I have full faith in Pirate's ability to make it interesting once I get into it, but I won't end up having the usual fervor to start reading as I do with other chapters. The fact that Pirate chose to make this chapter even though it wasn't a winner does imply it's more important to the main story and not just fluff, so there is that. I used to like the Fierre stuff, but the Fierre dark turn amidst all of the other stuff just makes me see it as a story line that won't have much in the usual way of WI fun and happiness. I think it will be a downward spiral with the author pushing her to more and more depravity until allies turn on her and she hits rock bottom. Basically a Toren-style arc. Or Ryoka angst/self-hate arc.
