Great chapter! Loved how it ended differently from what we could’ve expected. I like this Jecaina - forced to grow into her new role at a faster pace from war and her father’s capture. I always love anything with Fetohep of Khelt, he’s like our favourite dragon - bored and has a Long memory. He’s also getting involved with the world again - just a bit here and there.

Your ability to, in one chapter, take a character I don't particularly care much about, and turn them into someone I'm emotionally invested in, and want to see succeed at all costs consistently floors me. Bravo.

Glad that plotline was resolved, keeping that man alive was never the action of a strong or good leader. Now thousands dead and the idiot is gone, rather than just a few dead idiots.

Absolutely fantastic chapter, perfect amount of politics, amazing world building, great character payoffs that we've been waiting on for a while, and quite possibly the most interesting character growth in the entire series in Jecaina. Superb, marvelous, exquisite. 9.5/10

Truly a fantastic chapter, this one. I play a lot of Crusader Kings 3 and this is extremely reminiscent of deals I’ve had to make before. Beautifully done, and delicious payoff at the end. When a vassal refuses to be of use to you, they should first consider whether or not they are more valuable kept or removed.
