PS: Also, maybe, y'know, savor it since I'm on break for two weeks? Or at least you don't have to read it in one sitting. Just saying.

Highlight the page in some instances, look at the coding, etc. I think it changes. Best of luck!

longhairdfreak

Gah, do you think they’ll hand out methadone to take some of the pressure off my Innworld addiction? I decided to read it again from the start (wow there is a lot more foreshadowing and hints than I remember on first read. Truly inspirational Pirateaba!)

longhairdfreak

I know that some of the blanks have words that aren’t normally visible. How do you see those if they are there?

SaintMaceToTheFace

Great job! Truly my favorite read ever.

La Toot

You da best. Take a month of maybe, find a small cafe and drink espresso shots until you can't sit still and find the adventure of the day!

What a fantastic end to a truly epic volume. Thank you so much! I hope you have a great well deserved break, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

T34Z0MB13

Merry Christmas Pirate! :)

Deepak Kamlesh

i m speechless, just grand

Hasenpelz

Just in case anyone missed it.....like me.....click on the word 'changed' in blue at the end of part 3....it links to part 4. Tricky.

matt emmons

Aye i know the feeling, Erin/Goblin/Mrsha chapters are what i enjoy, they are the most epic chapters, the other are good when they interact with the three groups.

CromCruach

Id really have preferred she not have been shelved at all. "Killing" main characters has never felt justified in the end to me. You either kill them for real and it sucks because they're the reason you're reading. Or you don't kill them and their "death" has no weight. If you want a meaningful death kill someone close to the MC as we've seen before

Scruffleupagas

Y'know as I have been reading this story, I found myself daydreaming about characters that we don't see often interacting with one another. Yes this story has boring times, yes there were times when I was frustrated with the lack of detail, or characters choices, but to me, having Erin gone, it gives the threads of the story a chance to realign. One of the core mechanics of the Innworld, "trials give you experience" is well portrayed in this story, and in volume seven I was waiting to enjoy bitter difficulties of the previous volumes. When the Horns of Hammerad were massacred way back when, it drew me into the story more, because I saw that there was real peril involved. Too many stories dont take risks. Dont get me wrong, I like peace, but peace forged without sacrifice is unrealistic. Therefore, Pirate, I trust your judgement. You have managed to pull off amazing twists in the past, with recent developments of our characters, I cant wait to see what direction this story will take in the future. Thank you

Holystone

I doubt it'll be a whole volume. Part of it for sure but volumes are so long these days there's plenty of room for her to come back

Zoe Weinstein

Not happy with Erin shelved for the foreseeable future. We are doomed to suffer at least a volume without her

Matt

All the chapters have to be read in one sitting, when it’s available. I can wait till after your break, but never when there’s unread chapters out. Have a Good Christmas and a brand spanking New Year 2021!! And most of all stay safe, we need Volume 8 in January 2021.

A Avery P.

Thanks pirate! Such a good set of chapters and such a good portrayal of the fae and their world. Have a great break!

Zoe Weinstein

oh damn

Hudson Hicks

Thank you and enjoy the holidays!

Andrew

Didn't see the advice not to read it in one sitting until after I finished it. Story of my life.

luckeybrady

Takes me 2 licks and one crunch to get to the center of the tootsie roll pop. I crunch all the hard candies too soon instead of letting them dissolve slowly. Gulp often instead of sipping daintily. Spread out these chapters over many days? Hah Pirateaba has SUCH a great sense of humor. I burnt through this book-in-a-chapter like a flame on an oliphant’s fart. Is anyone actually managing to draw the reading out? Inquiring minds want to know. C’mon. Tell!

Roseletemps

I have an entire old dead tree from a bad storm! 199 pounds of gold!

Roseletemps

have a great chrismas. the ending, there was a bit underwelming like you wanted to mesh everything together in one short chapter, so it's a bit wasted potential for the story line.

Philipp Ziehe

*reads in one sitting* Can't stop won't stop

Jericho Drakane

Alright, I'll see you guys in like 6 months. I'm done with this story for a while. It's no fun without Erin.

taukid

Ugh for the end of a volume. I felt like I had nothing answered... only questions that I wanted answered for volumes now teasingly put under my nose. Super frustrating!

Kevin Choi

:D You're among friends. ;p

Beth Rasmussen

Wow that was so much! Nothing is resolved, but it is a clear ending -- still a cliff hanger --but with a feeling of resolution? Something like a pause before charging into the breach?

Beth Rasmussen

I’m afraid the chapter points toward a slow resolution of Erins situation.

Hey, anyone wanna buy my stick? Starting bid: 200 pounds of gold.

Ruyxi Sylpheyes

The glossary is fairly extensive if you don't get a reference. I've had to look up a some names these past few chapters. This was definitely an interesting chapter with a lot of good info about the world, but yeah few zany antics were had.

Alan McBrayer

It did not scratch the itch. I have decided that it is the Erin Itch. Great chapter, had me on the edge of my seat, but still... I miss her. And while I knew that there wouldn't be a clean wrap up (is there ever?), I still wanted to see... something. Instead I'm more confused than when I started. I feel as though lines are being brought up that I've forgotten over the past months, but the story is so long that I have no idea where to go back and re read to clarify. (you should commission someone to make a comprehensive Table of Contents with reference points n stuff (not actually but that would be very useful with the enormous scope of this series)).

Connor

It wasn't until I scanned the comments that "Changed" was a hypertext link -- I was getting SO confused after I read Pirateaba's header here. Oo ;)

Beth Rasmussen

These left me asking "why". The story had so many plot twists already set up for the future, and now latest round hit. If anybody remembers Wheel of Time series, at some point books 7-9, there were so many plot lines going, it really left readers scratching their heads. Really enjoyed approach to story telling used by Pirate with "links", but overall didn't quite feel as epic as the delivery run

Colomor

I could have savoured it. But good books are like good food. I eat large bites as quickly as possible until my plate is cleared.

SabreToothTortseshell

No way. I’m procrastinating, so I have to finish it in one sitting. Also, the last few chapters have left me feeling out of sorts? Unfulfilled? I dunno they didn’t scratch the itch the same as every chapter from before has, so I’m eagerly awaiting that feeling from this chapter.

Connor

I devoured it and it felt both satisfying and rose sooo many new points. Well done! I wish you a new year and whatever you are celebrating on top, if you are :)

s476

I'll read it in at most two sittings, probably cry a while, then read it again in a week. Much love, volume seven has been a pleasure and we're honored to have been able to read it before it goes to print. BTW I heard Scarra is a long time fan, look up offline TV. :)

Merry christmas and a happy new year.

Fluffy druid

I’m going to try and savor this, but most likely I’ll finish in a day then feverishly look for the next release

JumpingPotatoSack

Merry Christmas! And Pirate, I feel like you have a burden to "keep writing" for us when I read some of your Authors note. I feel how tired you feel. If you need more time to recharge, then take it. Cause it matters for you, the writer, and the history. And really, don't think your fans will leave you just because of a break, some maybe will, but the majority won't. 464 and nobody103 (Authors) had MONTHS of pause and still had good encouragement from their fans in Patreon in the in-between. TWI is a solidified entertainment and will not lose its momentum, I tell you. How did authors even make money before? Got an endorsement, delivered the book, got the payment, and worked on the next for a year, two? Well... The pressure of having a one-time-only try is big, your deliveries vary from 18-30k words per update. Did it sink in that this is amazing and settles a hard to follow expectation on the future of webnovels? Fans will always want more, but we are simply longing for more, not pressuring you. At least, you should not let it be a burden on your life what our expectations are. Health and happiness come in first, then work. I gather we always want more, to be more "successful" but there has to be an... equilibrium of work and life. Avoiding burnout and the.. pressure of delivering creative content in such way.

Christie

I loved the PS comment: Also, maybe, y'know, savor it since I'm on break for two weeks? Or at least you don't have to read it in one sitting. Just saying.' Phissh, like I can stop when the cliff hanger is just in front of me.

savoring is for the strong of mind I am the weakest

OrangeBasket

I haven’t read the last 3 chapters, can some tell me if Erin is alive but not how. I’m planning on binge reading it once I know we got past this part.

evilperson41

This last chapter reminded me of the first time I read through the Harry Potter books when I was a preteen. The sense of wonder, of pure unadulterated glee, of sadness and glory. Bravo pirate, you are among the greatest writers of our time. Not just because this last chapter was amazing, but because the whole story is amazing, highs, lows and middles. And the quantity of words, of time is just... Words fail me. You deserve the rest. Enjoy it.

Alvin Baena

Madness. Greatness.

Rukshan

damn, i love you. lmk if you need a young pretty housewife to help you through volume 8, ok darling?

Have a nice christmas break pirate! cya next year!

Chrones

Hudson Hicks

Bold of you to assume I can stop reading once I've started.

Konrad2
