Added 2020-09-20 01:37:33 +0000 UTCAnd here we are! A shorter chapter! R-relatively! It's all relative! The theory of relativity is in this chapter, by the way. Look out for it! (19,200 Words)

I think though in a biweekly release and with someone writing as much as pirate does you really want them to write what currently inspires them. I think if we only got Erin chapters the quality would not be as good.

2020-09-20 20:07:25 +0000 UTCThose are most of my favourite characters too. Though only some of the goblins, basically just the original group from Esthelm and Rags. But I like the witches a lot and seeing Laken deal with the nobles can be interesting. I understand people getting bored with all the peasants fawning over him though.

2020-09-20 17:09:45 +0000 UTCMore King of Destruction! I like reading about the truly powerful in this universe. We only need to see Trey and Teres level too. KEEP COMING BACK TO Flos, Wistram, and Rhir. Earthers and world powers are the right combo for me.

2020-09-20 09:07:56 +0000 UTCI agree, the king of destruction is the least interesting character (personality wise) in the story, other peoples fear of him and the idea of him is very entertaining, but characters like the mummy guy & even relc have much more interesting personalities. His role in the world, other peoples attitudes towards him is fun & interesting, hearing about him as some far off threat, but his personality seems so 1 dimensional. Like he’s just an airhead that knows how to fight, I find myself skipping through his chapters to get to the good stuff. I do like the emperor chapters only because I love all things goblin, and the witches are interesting, the emperor is not so bad, not as interesting as Erin, but he’s a 3 dimensional character, surrounded by interesting characters (goblins & witches) and interesting circumstances. anything to do with the goblins, toren, azkerash, drakes, Erin, ryoka, and even the side characters have me glued to the story, but the king of destruction is a bit meh. I’ve skipped a few of his chapters (skimmed and read the parts with Erin, goblins, or the mummy) and it hasn’t detracted from the story

2020-09-20 04:43:17 +0000 UTCIts nice to hear from other places.... But in the end I hope the story continues to focus on how an Innkeeper can change the world. Won't lie though, Remi Canada in Chandrar seems like some interesting topics.... Near all the slavers, and NOT being luckily snatched up by the King of Destruction, I bet he has a pretty dark story. Especially introducing us to what I expect to be a pretty barbaric, and terrible slavery system embedded within the the 'level' system. I guess I am biased thoughon getting frustrated the last couple chapters... E and K are my least favorite chapters by a large margin. I just don't like or care for any of the characters. I guess what it comes down to for me, is that plenty of stories have powerful Kings, and isekais who become rulers and play A Yankee in King Arthur's court.... I got caught into this story because of how the kindness of a regular person could change so many lives in a slice of life way. Sure the story went overboard some times, but Erin making connection in Esthelm with her coup seems like a story we missed, while these last couple chapters feel like they could have been gone over in a couple lines of 'The King of Destruction met his first defeat'. The effects of his loss are just so far away from our protagonist atm. Ailendamous, and the Doctor tangentally effect the Inn directly at the moment, due to Octavia and Lyonette, but the King and the battles don't seem to serve a purpose at this point of time.

2020-09-20 02:55:36 +0000 UTCI really love some of these "the day after the big battle" chapters - it's so fun getting to see how different characters react, where the pieces fall, some of the more immediate consequences and the set-up for the more long-term consequences. This one I definitely enjoyed lots. Thank you!
