Most people in innworld seem to perceive goblins as animals, mindless monsters. And as unimportant. Not worth noting. If a Goblin attacks you, you think 'what a nuisance'. When an Antinium attacks you, you run away screaming until your voice is gone (actually no, you'd just die). Do you know see the difference?

Doesn't matter. Some little girl from Kansas needs to drop a house on her before the flying monkeys start pouring out her butt.

Halima, my point on Toren was that we the audience knew he had a rudimentary conciousness and so did Lyonette. if you remember Toren would bully her back when she was a spoiled princess doing chores. she told Erin a couple of times and was brushed off because she was, all things considered a terrible person. she, from our perspective, blew up the shop with gnoll treasures and got Erin's mercy and we should not like her. after all these arcs Lyonette feels very real like KDP mentioned and is not a story plot character. I cannot imagine Erin getting the upper hand over an incredibly powerful country that has Liscor, Erin's biggest potential ally aside from the antimantium, in a chokehold. I think Lyonette is one of the many people that Erin is a bundle of chaotic force that changes things, In my opinion, for the better. Lyonette is just pointing her to you know, make bird understand the consequences of her actions, pointing her that by simply agreeing to allay with the ullisoi faction that other factions can't come kidnap her. that system of thinking is Royalty politics stuff that Lyonette must have seen in Calafor and is using it for the betterment of the Wandering Inn. idk why I'm typing this. live and let live. if yall don't like Lyon like thats super okay.

billy herrera

he only had a very blurred picture of her and didn't actually see her, he just made the connection, erin was very blurry in the goblin attack

Ram nevet

The goblin attack on Liscor was live-streamed too. It was how Niers found out about Erin.

Celine Liu

This chapter was a constant 🤯

Durzo

Ilvriss is such a good character. Out of literally every other character in the series he is the most well-rounded, realistic, and interesting.

Rikk Silirion

Why would you want to write short chapters!? Double their length and I will conquer a country and gift it to you in tribute!

Vladerag

Main positive point for me is that Lyon feels real. She is now acting like a combination of her past and her reformed new mentality. Would be very strange if a princess with 18 years of grooming for command shouldn’t be able to assert herself. I think she is an important part of the story, and I for one feel she is contributing to it - whether or not you then agree with her actions is a personal thing of course. :-)

KDP

I love the fact you struggle to write shorter chapters. I'd love to see what your outlines look like.

Ground Control

Billy I have to disagree with you ever since lyoneltte came to the inn she made Erin lower her head to most of the people like Wistrom ,councils and so many other people.I really don’t see how she is grooming. Every time I was cheering for Erin to say no wistrom like when they Threaten her Lyonette had to step in and made her except their demand. I just didn’t like her if they remove her I will not miss her.I can see that her father is looking for her I hope he comes and gets his daughter. Secondly nobody knew that toren had conscious. he’s still alive and in the hand of the necromancer. It was not her fault she treated him like a 🤖 . Like how we treat most off our appliances.

Caanbo

Looking forward to reaching this chapter! Still in volume 4 at the moment, but I'm hoping I can shrink that gap by a volume or two during my vacation in a couple weeks. Keep it up! Loving it so far!

Jeff

I believe its because most people didn't actually see her lead a goblin army. The attack on Pallas was lived stream around the world. My guess would be that they assumed it was an exaggeration or a tall tale, only confirmed when she was seen ordering bird.

Parker Groseclose

Thank you!

Andrew

Lyonette asserting herself and "holding back" Erin is very inline with her flourishing royalty level and just shows she is growing. i don't think its holding Erin back but propping up Erin to be an even better person in Inworld. Cuz tbh, If Lyonette had put her foot down and spoke to Erin like the adult she is Toren probably still be alive and things could have gotten really interesting. sorry to hear that you miss the crazy days Halima, cuz they seem to be ramping up in my eyes to a global level of crazy.

billy herrera

How did Erin become famous from simply knowing Bird and not from leading a goblin army against the Goblin Lord? That's what confuses me. Ilvris' opinion of Erin seems also exceptionally high this chapter; I am not entirely sure it was warranted by his experiences with her. But amazing chapter as always. I am in love with your writing. I anticipate Niers' and Erin's meeting.

Celine Liu

Yeah I am starting to hate her. I feel like she is trying to hold back Erin. I love this book because of Erin crazy days u know. 😤 and bird

Caanbo

I'm just gonna say it, Lyonette has become a bit of a b!@#$. When the inn reopened, she had that whole queen of the castle vibe going on. So darned bossy and possessive.

Dikfor

Nice chapter pirateaba. I am now left wondering whether the Titan will finally be moved to reveal himself to Erin, or if the scrutiny that he knows she will now be under from all the other major players will prevent him from making any overt moves

Luca

I love you 😘 I have been waiting this like I didn’t even know 😂

Caanbo

Thanks!
