I recall Embria being embarrassed by her name and getting teased about it as a child. Drake's are rough about names. When I was a little kid my nickname was Whizzer because I peed a lot. So it is kind of identifiable. If my real name was Whizzer, like my mom [wanted] it to be. "Hi my name is Whizzer, don't laugh!" Would be tattooed on my head.

2019-12-28 19:31:17 +0000 UTCGreat chapter, Pirateaba! Love all the characters involved, especially Crossbow Stan. Not sure why that guy has grown on me so much. Maybe because he's an older guy, with a family, doing the best he can to provide and give them a good life, despite the danger. And he doesn't really even do anything cool, like Halrac. At least Halrac is a ranger type, smart guy, etc. Crossbow Stan just ... shoots a crossbow. Not a particularly sexy weapon. Doesn't really seem to do it that well even. He just pulls multiple loaded crossbows out of his bag of holding, one by one. Lame. But the fact that he turned a lame seeming skill into something that brought home the bacon for his family ... well, that's something most of us can identify with. A great character. Thank you Pirateaba!

I always have. It has always made so much sense, now more than ever. I hope something works out Thank you so much for the series and these last few chapters. I feel like a lot of the peripheral characters are getting away from me. I love side stories like Apista, [Clown] and the United Nations. But I absolutely live for Ceria, Erin, and Ryoka. And now Hissle, [Don't Laugh] is a close second.

My wife received a transplant November 30 and since then all I’ve done is help her, try to catch up on sleep, and read. I just today caught up on the story. Just wanted to thank you for a great story, that also kept me distracted from worry in a difficult time.
