2019-11-17 19:29:49 +0000 UTCHonestly their stated decision to stay for a few days rather than flee really shows their arrogance. The adventurers are gonna wake up in a few hours and it won't take much of an intuitive leap that the winstram mages are also after the door. Combine that with the watch captains reaction, the antinium reaction to ksmv being kidnapped, grimalkin coming to train Ceria, and the half seekers staying at the inn and these mages will be lucky to survive the night.

2019-11-17 19:24:27 +0000 UTCTrue, by association, the moment the Inn started paying taxes it is "part" of Liscor and thus the same extends to the door. I also agree that the Walled cities will not allow the door to leave Liscor if they get wind of this. In fact, I hope that Zevara is the one unfold what is happening under Liscor's watch when the centaur goes to see her: her fury should be a sight to behold!

2019-11-17 17:41:40 +0000 UTCI don't think it really matters if it's strategic. It's liscors inn now and liscors door. Drake's don't like anyone taking their stuff.

2019-11-17 17:24:22 +0000 UTCShe also has the walled cities who don't want the door taken I'm sure

2019-11-17 17:17:03 +0000 UTCI wonder how Montressa and her goons plan on taking the door. If they have the gonads to flat out announce it to Erin's face, someone get some popcorn as the mages are in for a much deserved beat down [rubs hands with malicious glee] Also, now that the Inn is officially part of Liscor, would the door be viewed as a strategic asset for the city? If so it will make Zevara even less inclined to tolerate these fools from Wistram and their actions

2019-11-17 15:23:10 +0000 UTCIs "L" Lyonette? Also Erin is going to be pisssssssssed. If you think that a chance to go home is enough for her to turn her back on her friends. Once she finds out what they did to the horns and mind blanking selys and planning to steal her door. Erin is chaos. Can't wait to see what kind she makes.

2019-11-17 13:18:06 +0000 UTCReally good chapter. Rage inducing of course, but the fact that it elicits those kind of emotions is proof of the story's quality. Such chapters are also necessary to major upheaval as well. A few notes: --I kind of want Ceria to be taken, because it'll be a chance for her to get her master's spellbook, which seems important for her breaking through to Gold and beyond. --I hope we get to see Cognita's reaction to people she declared graduates being called exiles. I doubt she'd help them directly, but she'll expect them to be treated as graduates. --I wonder if Erin can detect the Horns at some level due to advanced cooking? She's shown that she has some ability to detect the appetites of those within her inn. --The bit with the election plays in really nicely here because Erin is now a taxed citizen. They can't just take her and sweep her under the rug without causing an incident with Zevara--she might overlook the adventurers being assaulted based on how the law reads, but there's no way she can let a citizen of Liscor just be kidnapped. That said, I don't think they'll get any leeway with Selys--getting Mind Blanked seems like something that will invite repercussions from Tekshia if no one else. --All we need now if the party hunting for Lyonette to show up and we'll have a real brawl on our hands, lol.

2019-11-16 23:53:04 +0000 UTCaaaaargh the clifhanger........... Any why did the watch not intervene. I mean the attack in the bar is blockable but on the open street? The magic should have been noticed by someone. 5 complet strangers in liscord suddenly vanishing in the open street together with two very famous people of the city? People should have noticed and at least called a the guard to investigate. The rest is fine but this just seems so strange to me.
