I would guess there is something akin to a treaty in place between the 3 big powers with regards to surrenders. If they try and dispute who received the surrender I'd imagine the reporter will screw that up.

If we don't get another K chapter, then I think we'll need a note somewhere in the soonest chapter that explains how they kept the population of Tiqr being enslaved anyways since she just surrendered to the smallest faction. Also, I have hopes now for Illivere re-discovering titan creation and making a golem!Thef in the future. Or maybe a cyborg version . . .

They are nice and I know they will have a big payoff at so e point but I would have rather seen Erin negotiating a trade deal as I find it hard to emotionally invest in the k of d or this empress of beasts
