Thanks for the chapter! Personally I love these side character chapters, we could never have gotten the perfection that was the end of volume 5 without all the G and E and R plotlines that fed into the main one. Looking forward to seeing where Volume 6 goes from here!

For me, there's a definite change of priority depending on who the chapter POV is or if it's a continuation of the previous chapter's story line. If it's an Erin chapter, or a continuation in a series of related chapters that were interesting, I end up binge-reading it, sneaking away from friends and family until I'm done with it or staying up way past my bed time. If it's a secondary character that I don't have a connection with, or a big character we haven't seen in a while with a new story arc, it might end up getting shelved until I have a planned period of free time to read through it and get into it. If it's a flash back story arc, like the Wistram days, or antinium wars, I have a lot harder time reading it since it doesn't actually impact the current story time frame, and feels like filler back story. I ended up skipping most of Wistram days. So many "new" characters on a flash back that only filled in a bit of back story. I should probably go back and read them one day. If it's a Toren chapter, I'd call in sick to work, boot my family out of the house, and put on some mood music while I settle into the smooth embrace that is Toren.

I have a hard time being sympathetic towards people who have issues with Pirate’s work. I personally think it’s amazing and have never had any qualms with the “side stories”. Which they really aren’t as they are integral to the plot. I support the author and all of there endeavors. I think you should try to do the same.

I empathize. At least I could drum up some enthusiasm for Flos and the Horns, but getting faux-Titan chapters leading Into MAGNOLIA is like being waterboarded she's the worst perspective after Goblins, watching her strut around as if shes a main character and be so smug yet so ineffective sets my teeth on edge. I unsubbed when it was nonstop gobs, even though I respect the hell out the sheer OUTPUT pirates throwing at us, I agree it's the best way to show that we don't want to engage with the story where it currently is.

I think that I am going to unsubscribe. I’m tired of these pointless side character chapters. at first I was ok because I thought author needs some world building and different perspective to recharge for next adventure of Erin. But this is coming on third month of side character chapters.... I know that for a lot of people 5$ isn’t much but for me it is and I don’t want to spend it on something that is not interesting for me. If author wants to write some other character story’s then just name them different story/web series but don’t get me all exited for next wandering in chapter and then have nothing of wandering inn in it!!!!!
