Interlude - Niers & Short Stories Poll - December 2018!

Let me explain. So after writing 5.43, I thought to myself, 'dead gods'--yes, I'm starting to use those expressions in my head--'dead gods, I HAVE to write Niers' reaction to Erin playing chess against herself.' So I did. The end.
This was a story I wanted to write. I had to write. And it definitely didn't fit in with the next chapter. And I didn't want to make it 10,000 words. So I wrote a short story. And you get to read it. But because I offer a poll for side stories each month, I thought I'd be cheating you all of your right to vote. So I'll write another short story. A SHORT story.
It'll be as long as this, or maybe shorter. Because like I said, I can't write regular side stories without devoting a regular chapter to it. But this? I can do this. It's not what I'd prefer every month, but this vignette-style writing is fun. So you can all vote on the other short story for this month! I'll write it sometime between chapters. It'll be a fun look into people's lives, nothing more. Hope you enjoy!

2018-12-06 08:25:49 +0000 UTCI too want to have a flos update, but oh man. Bevussa trying to deal with Bird sounds like so much fun! And while there are some good moments in the story currently, they are not necessarily happy. Happy interludes that make you smile, like this Niers one, are some of the best things in the world. And having my favorite character Bird interacting with a befuddled Bevussa in some way? There was never a choice.
