2018-09-18 12:40:46 +0000 UTCLogically, you could put anything in a treb - rocks, pellets, dead cows ... Use rocks, if you want to break down walls. Or diseased dead carcasses to lower the target city's morale and get them sick. Use pellets when you're in a defensive structure and got enemies banging on your gates (the minimum range might be a problem). Or use more rocks to get rid of attacking siege weapons.

2018-09-16 07:10:44 +0000 UTCI can't find reference online anywhere to using trebuchets to attack infantry with many small stones, I think that might be a fiction. Probably because they would be too slow to aim hence siege engine. Anyone able to find example of a trebuchet being used to fire pellets at an infantry line?
