Side Stories Spoilers - September 2018!

So, I have so many options this time. Yeah, I went a bit crazy, but I really wanted to change things up this time. And I do have an idea for each one. Some of the options clearly just further an existing plot, while others...well, I'll give you a brief description of what each one might contain. Here goes!

Behind the Scenes - Conversations about Weird Things (ft. Ivolethe, Teriarch, and others)

This is one of my 'fun' chapters meant to show off silly scenes or conversations I never wrote. Like Laken asking Ivolethe at the banquet if Slenderman is real and her giving a serious reply on the subject. And Teriarch introducing Magnolia to the world of Ryoka's iPhone. And what happens when you lock Dawil up in a room with Mrsha? Fun stuff, but not plot heavy. Then again...there's always something!

Chandrar: The King of Destruction

Wanna know what Flos did next? Interested in nation-wide conquest, the politics of [Kings], and how to build a nation from scratch? Vote here! Flos will get the ball rolling in a big way, and we'll get to see some epic [King]-level trolling as well.

Ijvani, Lost

Where did Ijvani get to? Remember, she was never teleported back with the others. So she's had to come back. On foot. Our least favorite skeleton might be in for a rude surprise, though. Damaged, disillusioned, she might run into a certain character on her way back home. But who and what might happen? Hmm~

Baleros: The Titan

Niers Astoragon is a legend, but it has to be said, a rather placid one. He hasn't fought in a huge war for nearly a decade. And yet he's still young at heart. When he hears about a certain Company making waves he has to investigate. But there's always a battle to be fought, and the [Strategist] of Baleros might have to pull out a few tricks to prove he's the biggest and baddest strategist around. Metaphorically speaking, that is.

The Horns of Hammerad vs the Dungeon of Liscor

This is it. Saving Captain Calruz. 20,000 Inches Under the Ground. Minotaur Down. Inglorious half-Elves. Uh...I haven't watched many war movies, so I'm out of titles. But this is round one of the battle to enter Liscor's Dungeon! The Horns of Hammerad have a mission, but do they have the guts? We'll contrast other teams doing their thing too. The Horns might have had a change of fortunes, but in a dungeon where Gold-rank teams struggle, can they survive? And more importantly, can they pay the price?

Pallass: That Crazy Human

Ah, Pallass. The City of Jerks. And Invention. Erin will get to meet some of the notable locals and find out exactly what makes Pallass special. It'll be a chapter (or two) that revolves around her struggle to earn the respect of a Walled City. Pallass ain't Liscor, and Erin has a lot to learn about Drakes. But is she up to the challenge? And who would be interested in visiting Liscor, anyways? Might she make some new friends? Or...enemies?

Drama Comes to Liscor (and Pallass!)

The Players of Celum are going to Broadway! Or, creating Broadway. This chapter would be just about how they start gaining a lot more than just local fame by putting their act on in Erin's inn. But wait a moment, why would the Drakes and Gnolls riot at their shows? The trials of the stage await! And of course Erin will be in this chapter. She's got to make money!

The [Murderer]

What the tin says. This story will introduce a new otherworlder who we saw very briefly in the first interlude. But what the savvy readers who've picked that up don't know is that we'll actually meet two otherworlders by the end of the side story. If you want new characters because there aren't enough ones already...pick this story.

Octavia, Potions and Lots of Money

Ever wondered who the other [Alchemists] in Celum are? Ever wondered what they think of Octavia and Erin's shop? Want to know how Octavia plans to expand her business? No? What if I told you that what affects Octavia, affects Erin? Their homes are linked, and Octavia has big plans. She didn't invent matchsticks for nothing, you know. And as you'll recall, she made a prototype haste potion based off of Ryoka's sample that worked on a certain slime...alchemy and economics await!

Lyonette Gets Royal

Our favorite [Princess] isn't really much of a [Princess], is she? That changes in this chapter. She'll level up in her [Princess] class at least once, I promise. But what could cause such a change? Well...let's just say that it's Lyonette's time to shine. Assuming she can beat all these other stories, that is.

Relc and Embria...and Klbkch

I'm already tired of writing descriptions. But this would be a fun chapter to write. Embria, Relc, and Klbkch walk into a bar. And get kicked out because they're all trouble when you pair them together. What mischief and madness would all three of them get up to? A fun chapter, not one that'll necessarily end in death. Maybe bodily harm. Relc is involved, after all.
