Hey fancylee, thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter and the Rael section--it was fun for me to write as well, since I do like giving multiple perspectives. Too many sometimes, but that is my writing style! I do probably still have a lot to fix in terms of minor details, but I am trying to move forwards rather than be caught up with editing, which does take a while. It's very strange that I can now write 17,000 words and only be mildly concerned that it's too long. I'm trying not to make each chapter dinosaur-length! I assume that there IS such a thing as too many words for you readers! But yes, I am very grateful for all the support! VOlume 1 has really taken off and this month has been great to me! I'll try to avoid carpal tunnel and relax on my days off. I'll be looking into comissioning cover art for Volume 2 soon and maybe make a post about that asking for advice. Merchandise feels a long way off since I'm no artist and I don't like dictating exactly what the canonical appearance of a character should be. Plus, what would I even sell? Bird plushies? I don't have the creative abilities artistically to figure out how you'd begin making an Antinium plush! Well, to answer your final question, if I was ever approached for a TV series (and what a weird thing that would be!), which I somewhat doubt would ever happen, I would consider it very seriously. I doubt TWI would actually make for a good TV series due to the high amounts of CGI required. Now, an anime might actually work better, or a western-style animated show. But again, that's thinking way too far ahead! I enjoy taking things chaper by chapter and I'm just trying to write the best story I can. I worry on some chapters that I've failed, but getting comments like these is very reassuring. Thanks for reading and hope you like next chapter! Hah. How's that for a long reply?

The Rael section is fitting for your style; multi-perspective slice-of-life always captures the feeling and the magic better. Also, thanks for proving once again that you're writing neither Game of Thrones nor Disney, but trying to make your fantasy world as real as possible. Just reread book one over the weekend, and your skill as a writer has improved tremendously in the last two years I've been following you. There are a lot of continuity errors in book one about timings of years and wars, and I feel like a lot of continuity errors in general with ages of characters, but I honestly just ignore it in favor of letting the story be the story. Once you finish this particular story in this universe and if you feel like going back to fix everything, even if it's just for the sake of wiki, maybe look into that? Also, do you remember a time when you wrote 4k words per update and felt pike it was too long? Look at you now with 4x as much :) You're two of the highlights to my week every week, and I always have a speculation session with the friends I've convinced to read your work. Congrats on two years, on being published, and on living your carpal tunnel dreams. I'll be here supporting you in my small $5 way for as long as you'll have me. Maybe once book two is published and as the fan art gets better and better, look into some merchandise? Would you ever do a TV series if the offer came to you?
